The inverted comma is there because after 14 years of destroying the country I don’t feel British to any extent. I feel very little affiliation to the state and the people that steer it. I don’t see any reason why myself or anyone young enough to have been shafted by this government should be expected to risk their lives for war.
What has this country done for us in the last 14 years? What’s in it for me? Win or lose we’ll still be living (or not) in an extortionate country where everything is broken and full of racist bigots. We’d have even more crippling mental health issues that will be left for us to deal with, alone.
Tory voters, how do you defend this? How do you convince the people you have punched down on to pick up a gun and fight for? You can’t, but you’ll piss and moan nonetheless, blaming everybody but yourselves, when it was only yourselves putting an X on that ballot slip. I can’t wait to see the young hating bile that will inevitably follow.
I and many others have had to deal with so much hardship that we’re completely numb to the idea of the country being blown to bits. It barely registers any more. Bollocks to it, get it over with.

Not sure its needed to be honest. Cant be response against Putin, he cant even get a slither of land off Ukraine without getting bogged down in conventional warfare for years, and Russia with an economy the size of Spain aint going to be ramping up its military capability anytime soon. China well, anit no Citizen army going to fend off an invasion given the sheer size so no point. You would be forgiven there is a budget insuring. Which has got a few armchair generals excited which has given their long suffering partners a few days off fornicating with them, as said arm chair generals self gratifying the younungs off to war.
