There is just no way you can't wake up today as an Evertonian and be optimistic.

They look like they've got a decent forward line but guess what, so do we.

Lets keep the ball away from Morgan, Jags and Keane and i think we'll be fine.

3-1 away win to us, Richarlison, Walcott and Tosun with the goals

COYB!!!

I’m absolutely cheddered by the signings.

Just feel Wolves comes at a point where we may not hit a nice stride.

Cons for the Wolves game.

Away
CB partnership
Schneiderlin
Wolves’ confidence
Wolves’ high press
Physicality
Wolves’ settled team

Pros

Pickford
Digne
Hopefully Zouma
Richarlison
Wolves’ CBs
Silva’s tactics
Pace for counter in Walcott, Richarlison.

Think it’ll be close, but the season is a marathon not a sprint. Hopefully the lads who I don’t rate put a shift in and we get the win. x

Pickford
Baines
Keane
Mina
Coleman
Gana
Schneiderlin
Richarlison
Sigurdsson
Walcott
Tosun

Stekelenberg
Zouma
Digne
Davies
Bernard
Calvert-Lewin
Niasse

Sort of hope that isn't the case but I think the game comes too early for most of the newest signings, Mina is more match fit than Zouma at this point.

By game three we'll see the side we all want to see, but doubt it'll be against Wolves. For that reason, I'd take a draw first game now.

i think/hope digne will start

Just not looking forward to this game at all. Not the ideal start, no new players bedded in, still that crap CB pairing, still Morgan not protecting them. They will be well up for it.

We should score against these, looking at there defence it's still looks like a championship one at that but with jags and Keane I think we'll sadly gonna concede too.

It will probably take around 4-5 matches before we learn how Silva is intending to play for the season. Still hope we win tomorrow, it's been too long since our last.

Wolves will be up for it but we should be beating them without the new signings. Probably expect Bernard Matthews to come on at some point.

Maybe now there's some serious competition for spaces in defence and midfield we'll see an improvement in the performance from the old players. Some are certainly playing for their place and careers.

Wolves are a decent side, playing a system they know well under a manager who’s been there a year. We have a new manager still implementing a new system with a pretty horrendous defence so I’m fully expecting a defeat and will be happy with a draw to be honest.
