This is the same media who reported that Burnley woudl qualify for Europe by the fair play league last year and it turned out they were using data more than 6 months out of date. Never trust a journalist, mate.

All I'm saying is that I, as an electrician, know more about footballing rules than any of the people whose job it is to know footballing rules, is that really so hard to believe?

But you said all the articles said if Portsmouth "win" the FA cup, just showing you that they didn't.

And at this point no one knows for sure but I and at least 2 articles say Portsmouth would of qualified as runners up.

Maybe a Stoke or Bolton fan would know more as it affects them.

In the bag this...happy days.

Ossie MOM.

Well well that was a quite a fun day out in the midlands. Great atomsphere at the Molineux today. We were louder there than the villa match.

We've had a nice run of form for the past 2 months and Ossie is the main reason why. He's put this team on his back. He was everywhere today, not even sure what position he played. His cross to Becks was beautiful.

Watching Beckford today compared to Sept and its like he's a completely different striker. He's even learned how to be dangerous in a 4-5-1 now. Plus he's our one attacker who isn't an injury waiting to happen. At the rate he's learning the position 20 next year?

Billy seemed to play much better and more confident after his goal.

Loved capt Phil's screamer and celebration.

Guaye had a rough game but didn't make any mistakes.

Stelios looks like he has good potential.

It looked like we got away with one as it looked to me that Hibbert should have been called for a handball. I had a good view of it and though the ball was kicked at him he did raise his arm instead of trying to pull it down. Other than that he was very good today. Moyes should make him run laps for continuing to be responisble and not attacking with a 3-0 lead though.

That would have been harsh to say the least if pen was given v hibbert for me,he was not even looking at the ball when it was hit against him,but hey some refs probably would give them against us,i remember one given against us when we played at charlton, david weir completley miskicked the ball and it bounced up and hit his hand and pen was given

If that was the other way around I be screaming for a penalty though. Would have been harsh and Wolves didn't have a scoring opportunity however I think we had a bit of good fortune there.

Wolves looked like us in October, they bossed us for 20min, gave up a goal against the run of play and then that was it.

Gotta admit I had a bad feeling about this one going in, so for once with Everton I've been pleasantly surprised this year. Figured Wolves would be up for it and we'd be out for a nice Saturday....and the first 20 minutes didn't make me feel any better. But well done to the lads. Very professional effort and our easiest road win of the year I believe.

Watched on DVR after riding this morning.

I will only say one thing regarding the match.

Diniyar Bilyaletinov. WHAT A MONSTER GOAL !!!

That is all.

Here is my take on yesterday's game - interesting to see us play 4-2-3-1 - there is some video stills incl of the movement of our attacking mids which was key

Excellent analysis again.

Noticed the 4-2-3-1 formation, and your spot on the constant switching of the three attacking midfielders really helped with the fluidity of the attacking play. Wolves didn't have a clue!!

Cheers appreciate all the effort you put in.

Positives
More game time for Gueye and Vellios as well as a debut for Forshaw.
A clean sheet and, after our second goal, we stopped making silly mistakes and defended properly.
Another good game for Osman.
Winning comfortably without playing especially well.
Closing within a point of the RS and matching their goal difference.
Confidence-boosting goals for Beckford, Neville and Bily.
No fresh injury worries.

Negatives
At one point it looked like we could have racked up a cricket score, but we didn't create anything in the second half.
We were pulled apart down our right flank early on.
Heitinga was anonymous.
The spat between Beckford and Moyes.
Anichebe didn't offer us anything when he came on.
