Ken****e there with his eagle eye watching the game ready to say "we dont need to spend after watching that game"...

Who's this yoof?

Midfielder Adam is another of Everton’s local-born talents.

Having joined the Club at the age of eight, the play-making youngster has impressed year on year.

In the summer of 2008 he was offered a place as a first-year scholar and is now hoping to become a regular feature with the Under-18s.

After injury saw him miss much of the 2008/09 season, he played for the Under 18s and reserve team, displaying plenty of promise for the following season.

Adam was handed a first team debut in the Europa League dead rubber against BATE Borisov in December 2009.

In the 2010/11 campaign Forshaw scored at stunning goal at Anfield for the Everton reserves against Liverpool, and a fortnight later he was named on the bench for the first team as they drew 2-2 with Aston Villa at Goodison Park.

Assist by Vellios that, by the way.

Gueye was pretty poor to be honest. Becks will still start next week as we have no one else. Too early for Velios and Anicebe? Please....

For the first - yes. For the latter... how about just... no.

Edit: And he just proved why - stopped running for a ball that was 2 meters in front of him.

Whoever said he would be "like a beat Gueye" was right, really.
