Midfielder Adam is another of Everton’s local-born talents.

Having joined the Club at the age of eight, the play-making youngster has impressed year on year.

In the summer of 2008 he was offered a place as a first-year scholar and is now hoping to become a regular feature with the Under-18s.

After injury saw him miss much of the 2008/09 season, he played for the Under 18s and reserve team, displaying plenty of promise for the following season.

Adam was handed a first team debut in the Europa League dead rubber against BATE Borisov in December 2009.

In the 2010/11 campaign Forshaw scored at stunning goal at Anfield for the Everton reserves against Liverpool, and a fortnight later he was named on the bench for the first team as they drew 2-2 with Aston Villa at Goodison Park.

Nickname Sausage, favourite actor Adam Sandler, favourite player - Stever Pienaar. Oops ! http://www.evertonfc.com/academy/adam-forshaw.html

A bit surreal, that, especially Phil knocking the back out of the net. First goal was as sweet as anything I've seen, lately. The fact that it came out of nowhere was the first hint that today was not going to be the team we've grown to love - this would be better. No possession + quality counterattack is not exactly the hallmark of Everton football, lately. We saw all the reasons for and against from Bily - I'm going to miss that cannon he has at the end of his left leg.

Best thing? Another clean sheet.

Ebepton turned up today.

We played limited to be honest which is understandable with the injuries but were clinical as [Poor language removed]. Boss.

Thought the defence played well, they defended about twelve corners and didn't really let Wolves in. Osman was very good.
