Vellios did a great job winning balls, holding up, played with strength and aggression. Brilliant. Play him together with Beckford for the less important last games!
Heitinga was good, so was Neville.
Back four otherwise were brill, especially jags.
And Howard saved our second half, that save on the corner header, when he stood behind Stearman, was breathtaking.
Gueye still is unpolished and got wrestled off the ball a lot, so was Billy.
But Billy delivered with a lot of important passes and of course a breathtaking goal. Back to back goals of the season. Of course he embarrassed himself and i hope he's not injured for the next. But that's our enigma-boy!
Beckford did really well, great runs and good effort all through. I understand that he was a little pissed about getting subbed, IMO it should have been Billy off for Vellios at that point.
Ossie was the MOM, no doubt. Great work in defence as well as up front, he was commanding the hell out of the team. A real Captain's performance, really.
