Winning the FA Cup

It would be fantastic but for me it all feels a bit tainted due to our league form.

No it wouldn't.

The day after the Final you won’t even remember, let alone care, that we finished in a low position in the league.

You should lose that mindset, fella......otherwise the hopefully glorious culmination of this cup run will pass right over your head.

Denigrating winning the Cup has become old on this forum now and is being used as a cockeyed way to have a kick at the man who remains our manager.

And stop concerning yourself with what Kopites might think about it.

Why would you even care?

And there is nowt they would love more right now than to be looking forward to a semi final at Wembley.

I was 2 when we last won the FA Cup in 1995, I honestly don't know how I would feel.

I remember looking at the clock at Wembley in 2009 a couple of minutes before Chelsea scored and thinking to myself 'At this moment we are the FA Cup winners'. It felt amazing, so actually winning it would be unreal.

I would take a 4th spot in the league over an fa cup win in any situation. But this year especially so since an fa cup win will not help us keep our top players but4th place and cl next year probably would.

I can't explain how giddy I get thinking about seeing the trophy in our hands.

God, this needs to happen and we won't get a better chance than this.

United showed how awful they are over 2 legs against an average RS side, and West Ham.....well they are just West Ham.

I'm 21 and was 4 months old when we last won a trophy. It would definitely be up there with the best days of my life!!!

Crikey. I feel old.

I think it's vital we don't let either of the ties go to penalty shootouts (unless we meet Palace in the final) I would hate to be up against De Gea likewise I rate both Adrian and Pantilimon over Robles (Pantilimon for his sheer size in between the sticks).

Utd, Watford and Palace games all are away so we should put a full strength side out in all of them and try get 7 points.

For Southampton and the Derby the week before the semi I would go:

Robles

Coleman/Oviedo (rotated)
Stones
Mori/Jags (rotated)
Oviedo/Galloway (rotated)

Besic
Cleverly/Barry (rotated)

Deulofeu
Barkley/osman (rotated)
Mirallas

Niasse

For me it's the other way around.

Cup final day would be great but in the following days I'd start to remember the league again
