i think we might sell someone to raise money. not sure who though.what would joseph yobo be worth now. seems to have lost his form a bit.

I don't see us selling anyone to be honest.

This year again showed that our current first team squad can get depleted very quickly with injuries.

We couldn't afford to let someone like Yobo go.

Look at how so many supporters thought we should get shut of Baines and make a bit of money on selling him.

Thank goodness Moyes didn't entertain the idea.

Don't think we'll sell anybody with an eye to raise money for squad strengthening. Could see someone like City trying to sign Lescott though. If they offer crazy money, maybe we'll decide to sell. Hope it doesn't happen though.

I'd agree with that and who last year thought we'd sell AJ? But I think Moyes will pair back some of the squad (Castillo, VDM, Valente) and look at trying to get someone on a free, on loan, or very very cheap like we did with Pienaar.

I don't see another Fellaini type signing this summer at all.

Dont think we will sell either PJ or Lescott. Unless it was big big money. We would then have to spend that money buying a equally good replacement which would be a waste of time. I think no one will go in the summer and poss a couple of newbies in, what about Owen if the toon go down which is likely?? Also Sean Davis would be a decent addition!thoughts?

right now we have a group of guys who all want to play for everton - if anyone expresses a desire to go elsewhere then I say; In that case you are not the player I want in blue every week.
If that ends up being the case the only decision we need to make is their valuation - and please god let Man City be amongst the bidders...

I figure we wont lose anyone we value - and if the money is that tempting I wish any deserters the best of luck.

For the coming summer I fancy 3-5 filler-types to come in, one of those hopefully being a right-back who can see 20yds and tackle like tony.

AS far as the topic is concerned, I can only echo what is already said, being Only a B-I-G money offer for Lescott or Jags is the only way we will see them move. As for selling Yobo, we should not do it as already mentioned we need to have some quality in reserve for injuries.

I have said in a previous thread that I expect some good money offers to come in this summer for some of our best players.

It wil be a case of whether Bill can resist.

I am expecting serious offers on Arteta, Cahill, Lescott and Pienaar.
We obviously do not want to lose any of them. I would keep all the current squad and add Manny, a right winger and full back.

We aint far away from be SERIOUS contenders for top 4 challenges every year. In my humble opinion
