It sounds like you simply want to believe we're going down so I'll leave it there, bookmark this and bump it in a few months.

Hahaha, you absolute sad case! I don't want to believe it, but I do, because we're every bit as bad as Villa in 2015/16 and Sunderland last season.

Clearly you didn't watch today's shambles.

I'm not the one crying about it like the sky's falling in and preparing for championship football in November.

WE ARE GOING DOWN

No goal keeper

No defence
No defensive midfielders except Guyue
Too many bad attacking mids
No Strikers

No subs

Such an unbalanced squad, with no cutting edge or grit. Players look out of shape

The inertia over the manager is frightening. It was clear Unsworth wasn't the solution after 2 or 3 games. 9 games without a manager is a shambles and the longer it goes on, the harder it gets.
This could be the worst derby ever. We need someone in now, I don't even care if it is O'Neill. Get someone in NOW and get some semblance of a system of play installed or we will get destroyed and we'll be on a very slippery slope.

I can't disagree with you there. Why have we gone 7 weeks without a manager? Madness.
We should have sacked Koeman before that first int.Break...second one came and we didnt appoint new one. That was our window of opportunity and WE EFFING MISSED IT. And I said it back the already. We will get relegated without crazy luck.

Think we should just appoint some youngish manager with heart like Howe, Monk or domeone..and hope for a miracle. But realistically preparing to relegation.

I think the difference between us and Villa is that we have money to spend in January where they spent nothing.

That said, the similarities are that we have no fight or courage whatsoever.

There are some bad apples in that dressing room (sneids/Mirallas/Williams) that need shipping out pronto.

Relegated.

Bollocks.

4 points from 9th place with a new manager to come in and money to spend.

Dear me.

This is the worst I have seen we are terrible it could well happen.

With the money spent the stadium supposedly on the way it would be pure Everton if we went down.

...Everton to be relegated is listed as one of the most popular bets currently on Oddschecker. 8-1 available.
I told lads at work to get on at 20-1 earlier in the season. As an everton fan I couldn't bring myself to do it. But every wk we've been the best priced team to back against and I feel foolish for not backing and then trading out.

For relegation we should be priced at 2-1. We'll be that price in the next 10 days or so barring a victory (unlikely) over west ham.

Its an incredible place to be in. But watching the Tottenham game early in the season, you could see how precise our moves had to be to make progress up the pitch - nevermind create a chance. Simply shambolic.

Very encouraging win, but let's not get carried away. We're not quite out of the woods yet. And West Ham are probably the worst team you will see at Goodison this season.

As an aside, I was so impressed by the fans tonight. They were like a 12th man. Why can't things be like that every week?
