Why does everyone want Heitinga to go?

He's on massive wages.

He's started ****ting out of 50/50's again after a decent season prior to that.

And he's a meff.

I don't like him because he openly allows himself to be photographed with Kopites.

Once you could be let off for but 4 times? What kind of self-respecting Evertonian would ever do that? Sell ASAP.

He went from player of the season to awful last season; the main reason, the club tried to sell him behind his back. Loyalty goes 2 ways, from having his best season in our shirt to being crapped on from a great height probably had something to do with his attitude.

I think he may get a look in next year, Jags has already made a comment about 3 at the back and the need for the Alcarez signing to provide more cover. I like Johnny and hope he stays

Agree, plus I seem to remember Jags coming straight back in after injury despite JH doing well - suspect he wasn't one of soft lads yes men - not surprised he started looking elsewhere.

Deffo wouldn't mind him getting a shot under RM.

You joking Nigel?

Moyes played him every damned chance he had, no matter how crap he was. Duffy must have lose it some times last year when that he saw him starting yet again after the ammount of goals he cost us.

£65k a week, 1 year left on his contract, no intention of signing another one = exit

Plus he's a first rate ****house.

Well the Duffy situation is the same, the kid done a sterling job when asked then was turfed out.

Really I'm saying we're spoilt for choice at centre half, JH has proven he can contribute and I have to disagree with your previous post - I reckon he is the best footballing Centre Half at the club - with regime and hopefully style change we might be throwing the baby out with the bath water.

He knows the club and sure he's not perfect, but none of them are,.... I think the OP has a point.

It's true that Moyes always looked to get Heitinga out of centre-half as soon as he had Jagielka or Distin available, no matter how well he was playing. It was obvious he was never going to be first choice from the moment Jagielka came back from his cruciate injury, so I don't know why he's been kept on so long.

Maybe he'd thrive under Martinez but I feel as though too much has been said and done now. He'll end up going out on loan for this season and then leaving for free in the summer.
