I used to work in The Printhouse in Prescot years ago. I served Tony Hibbert, Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill.

Hibbert in Liverpool 1.
Bilyaletdinov in the bogs in Sopporros.
Pat Van Den Hauwe & Kendall in the Strikers Suite.
Joe Parkinson & Kev Ratcliffe are always in my local.

And the creme de la creme...I pulled over Alan Stubbs when doing traffic, same day as the 4-4 against Utd, magic.

I saw Distin and his missus in Harrods 2 mths ago browsing the expensive watches. Looked like the tight arse hadn't opened his wallet yet though. I just got a quick word in telling him I'd come over from Australia for the game against the Geordies and he wished me well and was pretty sound.

Joe Royle - Very nice
Andy Hinchcliffe - Cant remember what he was like.
Earl Barrett - Seemed quite quiet but a gentleman.
Brian Labone - Lovely man.

where in the grounds that mate?

when i was a kid i met Limpar, Kendall, and Hinchcliff who told me to calm down as i got a bit over excited and pushed the other kids away to get his autograph. Also was at a match against Forest and was stood where the away coach pulls up on my own as all the players had gone in i was about 10, then Kev Cambell came off the coach in his forest trackie saw me with my program came straight over signed it and ruffled my hair. Was made up when we signed him. Met most of the players from about 5 years ago at Finch Farm Carsley and Baines were sound . Met big Dunc and just froze first time i have been star struck in my life.

Right bang in the middle of the Park End pal. I've been sat there for years, as did Joe, he doesn't make the games any more due to other commitments, but his lads still sit there.

Back in 2002 the club did a 'meet the players lunch' at Goodison, was literally the best afternoon of my life, pretty much the entire first team showed up, and I remember Rooney showing up on his BMX, I think this was a few days before that Arsenal game. Anyway David Unsworth was deffo my fave to meet, genuinely wanted to be there and chatted to everyone in the room for ages.
Wish they still did these lunches, the food was alright too!!

Ha, I forgot about that. Yeah, I met a good few of them, Amokachi BTW has the largest neck I have EVER seejn, and a gold chain to match. Ferguson was/is an absolute gent. I've posted about my meeting his before.

Southall was a bit of a git though. I got a warning of some fella that Southall likes to do a runner, make out he's going for a piss, then dart off. So, the moment he stood up from his chair, I got up and intercepted him at the door, pair of gloves for him to sign. He said "wait here youngster, I'm just going to the loo" so I told him that I didn't believe him and I'd been told blah blah blah, which he didn't take too kindly, anyway, he signed my gloves, then promptly disappeared down the stairs, outside and towards his car. I was all smug like, as I was the only one to get his signature. Moments later, he came back upstairs to say that Amo had parked his car across him and he couldn't get out, so Amo just threw him his keys and said to leave them on the reception, he dissapeared again. I think people realised he was getting off, and were a bit gutted, however, he had to come back upstairs, cause he couldn't figure out how to start the car. Then he got mobbed by everybody and it probably took him 15 mins to get back downstairs.

Ablett, lovely bloke, as were most TBF. Ferguson FFS Ferguson, absolute gem. I have never walked away from a conversation before feeling 10 foot tall. Nothing in the world could've touched me after that talk with the big man himself.

Once played skittles against a fella who played with Dixie. Cant remember his name, and he is probably dead now anyrate.

I live about 35 min outside of Washington DC and was lucky enough to be on field during the lads trip here the other summer. Sat on a bench on the pitch during practice session. Sharpy came over and had a nice chat with us for a while, he was classic, simply great. Then he started bringing the boys over. Ossie, Jags, Neville, Seamus and the lot. Neville asked if I lived in DC and I said "a bit up the road", he cracked "up the road? what 3 hours? other side of the country for us, mate". Cahill came over and Bainesy, Bainesy was quite shy, or just tired being it was about 100 degrees that day (37-38C). Jags and Neville were quite the talkers, as was Ossie. Met Rodwell then, too, big lad but he defo looked like a kid. Moyes was great, spent some time with us as well. I have a shirt that says "Kopites Are Gobshi..." and all the guys wanted to sign it. It was fantastic. Unbelievably lucky to have an opportunity like that, sure it'll never happen again. I got a little boy on the way and the shirts, pictures etc. will be up in his room. COYB!

Mick Lyons regularly at lunchtime when he was coach of the Brunei National Team.

Yobo and the Yak on separate occasions at the Eko Hotel, Lagos

Alex Scott (I was dating his niece and she knew I was mad on Everton, sadly he was just before my time so didn;t know a lot about him).

Wood Ross King Mounty Goodlass Whittle Labone Hickson Kendall Pickering Westy McNamara Baines Moyes etc. Family were friends with Alex Parker and also Brian Harris (not to mention Souness Dalglish and Chris Lawler). Best mate's arl fella is best mates with the legend that is Derek Temple.

Met Mike Pejic once at Stokes old ground, youth cup final mid 80's I think it was. The photo never came out (thank fook) I made him look handsome!
