Met The Rat at an Ireland v Wales international fans game last year. Each team had a 'legend' on the touchline to supposedly inspire the team. He was Wales' and Ireland's was 'Razor' Houghton. Ireland won 4-0 and the Rat seemed a bit peeved at the result when I went to speak to him after the game.

Met Cahill and Yobo, at the sons team presentation, Yobo seemed a bit quiet, but Cahill virtually had to be dragged out, as he was there all afternoon, just sat there chatting to everybody, seemed like a nice fella. I idolised Duncan Mckenzie when I was young, and was fortunate enough to meet him a couple of years ago, I just asked him if I could shake his hand, couldn't say anything else to him really.

Most them were quite sound Hahnemann was in our end at wolves away last year, got talking to Staurt on a train home from Spurs & Elstone on the way back from Birmingham - them two were probs the easiest to talk to

Will do, hopefully it should be next weekend because he still does the sponsors stuff on the matchday (I think) and next weekend I think my dad is doing the man of the match sponsor so I'll probably go with him as opposed to taking the normal seats, should be a laugh it usually is

I think he was the most skilfull player i've ever seen in an Everton shirt, nobody could get the ball of him.

I wish I'd seen him play really, one of the bad things about being a young everton fan is that I've missed all these legends

Used to turn out in the summer at the local sports club in a fundraiser (back then), usually a couple of pro's would be there (Martinez played this year) and you can just imagine his dribblin stats by the end of 1 of them games.
