I really worry about rushing in for a new manager. We have a squad assembled by six different managers, including Moyes who all had different ideas about what they were trying to do. I'm not even going to call them plans. It's a mish mash.

The safest thing to do is to keep Ferguson in the role for the rest of the season because he knows more about this club and its
players than any of the candidates,

We're not looking to build a squad for the future right now, just to get enough points to stay up which we should be able to do.

If Duncan did sensationally well he could be considered, but we should be spending the next few months actually developing a plan
and finding out who would be best qualified to execute it.

No they don’t. We’ve had loads of them and hounded them out. They want a miracle manager who will negate the need for a multi year squad refresh. He doesn’t exist, which is why there’s not a single candidate that has anything close to support amongst the fan base.
No we haven't though

Ancelotti did well, to a point. Vast majority of people knew the squad limitations but also that he underperformed a bit at the end of last season. Vast majority of people wanted him to stay and hopefully be here for the next 2 seasons at least.

Silva had us 18th and was out of his depth. Koeman was as arrogant as they come and we were truly horrendous and he wasted so much money. Allardyce should NEVER have been hired and was never needed really. He was also given too much money to spend. Benitez took us on the worst run since Mike Walker.

It's not that friggin hard, we just have totally inept people running the club.

Haven’t seen his name mentioned anywhere but he’s currently a free agent leaving Granada at the end of last season(chose not to re-sign), does anyone think Diego Martinez would be a good appointment? Did excellent work with them getting them promoted, in to the top half and a european quarter final. Young manager who has done impressive work already. He’s interested in working in England, would at least be worth an interview. Guess he isn’t one of Kia or Bills mates

He'd certainly be better than Vitor Pereira if you were looking for a younger manager who has defensive grit and is a bit in the Simeone mould
