But that's the nature of football, its like your saying if we continue to get beat week in week out, the manager shouldn't be sacked which is quite frankly ridiculous.

Fans didn't force the managers out, results did and that's been the case since football began

Why are we so adverse to looking at the root cause of the problem though? One manager has these results, then yes fire him. When five managers have them, surely it’s about time we did something different for the sixth one? Whenever the bad form hits the fans go straight to he manager.

These types of comments have been said about various ex managers:

He’s a dinosaur who can’t coach, he just tells the players to play they need coaching

He should be playing 433

He’s a dinosaur who doesn’t know how to play attacking football, the players just need an attacking coach

The players need discipline, they won’t get that under this manager

He’s too inexperienced, that’s why it’s failed

There’s an excuse every time, if only the manager changed this, if only he’d been more this, if only he didn’t play x, y, z. It always ends up the same. When are we going to confront the truth which is we have a rotting core of players at the club who are underlying a toxic culture in the squad, and we keep adding pretty poor players to it.

But as fans your not on control of the root cause. Your moaning at fans for saying managers going on 15 game losing streaks is unacceptable.

Honestly mate, it's a bloody ridiculous stance. Everton fans aren't your enemy here when your spouting off this is what YOU wanted. Im half expecting you to go full Gladiator ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED

The reason why 5 or 6 managers have been sacked is because they're simply not good enough. Between the managers an ld 2 DoFs signing players we are a mess.

This rot was long set in but you are deluded if you even had a seconds thought thinking Benitez would sort this. All he's done is speed up the inevitable looming disaster.

Anyone who considers Seamus Coleman a cLuB LeGeNd should read this. He's been "captain" under most of these managers.

I’ve not even mentioned Benitez once again, I don’t know why people keep bringing it back to him. These problems are long standing as I’ve been saying for ages.

Everton fans aren’t my enemy, I’m just tired of some posters on here so obsessed with their hatred of Benitez that even when Michael Keane was lashing balls into his own net most weeks they still couldn’t bring themselves to even apportion any blame on the playing squad.

Benitez is gone. Its time to move on, and as I said the problems that bedevilled him are still here. If people at the club really think all that’s wrong at the club is we’ve hired five poor managers in a row then we are in serious trouble.

I wasn't being entirely serious about Allardyce, the man's a [Poor language removed] and a money grabber. That said, is there anyone in the frame that is a specialist in the bottom half of the table (we can work on the top half next year)

Actually, technically speaking we can still get 73 points, champions league here we come.

He’s scored 1 own goal in how long? Bet you were fuming you couldn’t blame him for the Villa goal yesterday

It would be absolutely hysterical if we got 73 points and still missed out on CL. The goalposts moving from Dave would be absolute legendary stuff.
