None of the managers we've had have shown any appetite for a rebuild. They've all given more chances to the same failing players.

I dont think people wanted a 53 year old who's been sunning it in China mate. I think people wanted a Jesse Marsch/Kovac type.

So we'll get the manager who Norwich City wanted. Cool. We used to be peers with Liverpool, Arsenal, and United, but after 25 years of Bill we are now appointing Norwich City targets as manager. Talk about decline. To be fair to Bill, we did actually appoint a Norwich City manager just before he took over... That didn't end well either.

We have literally just had one of the most successful managers ever in charge of us last season.

It doesn't matter who wanted him or who didn't, just how good of a fit he is for our club which is another thing entirely.

If the club came out and said it was between Rooney, Lampard and Kovac I think most people would be fine with whomever from there.


Team Vitor was fun when we were in a good spot and not facing relegation and we went with Martinez. We are in 16th and Vitor is absolutely a manager who shouldn't even be mentioned with this job.

I thought this, and have said that we have to accept nobody will be universally unpopular.

However honestly I think you just have to make a logical choice. I honestly think, Marsch, Potter, Kovac, Galtier or Favre would unite the fans.

Problem with Silva is, his old assistant went to Portugal and nearly a newly promoted team into Europe. He is still a top flight Portugasse manager and has a very poor team mid table.

His replacement was some guy Boa Morte come in and he was one of the worse coaches in world football and it derailed the whole season.

Cannot believe that some people would have Allardyce back. He was only better than Benitez because he had the entire team defending so we didn't lose quite as much and he was an absolute stain on the club in every aspect and took us for millions. He is not even a relegation specialist any more either since last year, just ask West Brom.

Would literally rather have any one ahead of him.

Not one person wants Allardyce!
