Those utter morons put us in this position by making that horrific decision last summer. They had time then to make a proper move for the next few seasons and hired somebody that had half the fan base wound up and was never ever ever going to last long.

Surprise surprise it’s been a disaster since then and now we are in a situation where the same goons that made that crap decision with time on their side in the summer have to make one with the threat of relegation in their heads and nobody trusts them to get it right.

Personally I’m not worried about relegation but these rumours about Joorabchian being involved in all this is very worrying indeed. Smacks of an utter mess of a club that deserves to go down, if true.

Silva, Allardyce, even Ancelotti was rapidly losing popularity by the end with people calling him a dinosaur who couldn’t coach.

No one can say we haven’t had decent managers with pedigree at the club. The players have let down manager after manager, the majority of people know this but rather than supporting the manager over the players we just look to a managerial change every time we get in trouble.
Silva was not even close to being a decent manager. He was completely and utterly over his head.

Ancelotti wasn't hounded out though was he, he left on his own accord.

Silva could have potentially been give more time but we was in freefall.

Benitez? LOL amongst the worst managers in the club's very long history

It was a matter of time with Ancelotti. The form at the end of the season was terrible, as it was under Silva, as it was under Koeman, as it was under Allardyce at the end, as it was under Benitez. The pattern is the same, a period of good form (of variable stretch of time) followed by such rank under performance that the club feels it has to dispense with a manager. That would have happened to Ancelotti as well, we went from sweeping teams aside early season to getting dominated at home by the poorest teams in the league.

The common factor are the players, and the culture that surrounds the players. It won’t be any different under Pereira unless he can move out a lot of these players very quickly.

But that's the nature of football, its like your saying if we continue to get beat week in week out, the manager shouldn't be sacked which is quite frankly ridiculous.

Fans didn't force the managers out, results did and that's been the case since football began
