As said earlier, still firmly stand on Vellios being loaned out dependent on a 'certain striker' signing ;) regardless of what Vellios says

So Vellios is going on loan but not to Sheffield?

CM:

Fellaini
Gibson
Osman
Heitinga
Neville

Assuming we don't want to lose - take Heitinga and Neville out of them, leaves us with 3 CM players, surprised Barkley is the one to go out on loan - Unless we are bringing another guy in? That Alan Nixon is still certain Adam is going to be an Everton player :/

If our attacking four is Kev, Jelavic, Naismith and Pienaar then we only have two positions behind them for Gibson, Fellaini, Osman, Junior and Neville to fill. Not too bad.

The original story the other week was we were getting an everton striker once you had found a replacement/new signing

Now the barkley story, more than happy to take both :D

Doubt we will even see Junior get a minute this season, and I'll cry if - though its likely when - Neville goes into midfield :(

most definately, perfect for all 3 parties. We get Mirallas + Niang and you help us develop Velios + Barkley whilst spear heading a hopeful promotion chase

We were happy with just staying up a few weeks ago, but if dave jones carries on bringing players in like this ( if either happens ) then surely we can push on for top 10 +

Stupid move loaning out Barkley.

The lad's a Premier League player. Sending him into that mess of a league after he's had a major injury already.

[Poor language removed] move by a [Poor language removed] manager.

That is why a loan move will do him good, post injury he's still not ready for the prem week in week out.

It's evident that despite the best intentions of most Evertonians, Ross Barkley is not ready for Premier League football.

No matter how much of a judge of a player we may think we are, the man who sees Barkley day in, day out doesn't pick him as he doesn't think he's able to either influence a game or follow instructions. It's evident Ross has ability, and a period out on loan will hopefully speed his development.

Given that Junior has featured heavily in pre-season there's some evidence that Moyes feels he's a more advanced project than Barkley and hence has confidence that a loan isn't going to leave us in the shoite and will benefit all parties concerned. If there's another midfielder on the cards then great as I still have cold sweats over Neville and Heitinga lining up together in te middle of the park.

Trust the man in charge, if you knew better you'd be in his shoes not typing on a fan forum whilst watching CBB.

Wasn't expecting it be him, but personally think it's a great move for Ross if true, and it's something that we should have done with Rodwell early on. It's better than playing 5 or 10 minutes here and there (if was lucky), as has been said by other people it'll be good for Ross to have responsibility at a club. I fully expect him to take the ball and run with it here.

Can see it being Tolis, He needs to be Developed, Even if its the Championship.
If he bangs in 20 there then he'll come back confident and raring to go for the season after.
