Moyes is right - he needs to play, but I'm convinced he's good enough to do so at Everton. We're weakening our squad for no reason IMO.

I doubt it's Barkley, Moyes will need him this season going for Vellios or Junior.

Barkley needs games, but I thought this new Under-21's league would be ideal for him, as we'd also be able to bring him back into the first team if we pick up a few injuries or suspensions..

Sending him out on loan seems a poor move to me.

Makes sense if you have a bg squad full of players who can boss a midfield. If not, it's a [Poor language removed] move.

I don't see a problem with him going on loan and being ace in the Championship.

As much as we want to see him in our line up, i think we all know that Moyes wasn't going to play him.

So rather he gets experience now, than sit around getting frustrated on our bench.

I think it might be good for Ross in the long term. I don't think it's good for us in the short term.
