No love for Tony Cottee? He was my personal fave during my formative years, scored loads for us, wasn't high-end like a Lineker, Bob or Rom and didn't win anything either, and I know plenty of you didn't enjoy his playing style, but can't begrudge his numbers: better goals-to-games ratio than Sharpy.

@Tony Cottee

If you're basing it on goals to games ratio then you don't need a poll. It's Lineker.

@Tony Cottee

Tony Cottee was a flat track bully for me. He used to get plenty against poor sides but his record against the top teams wasn't good during his Everton career.

He used to miss a fair amount of crucial penalties too. (all sounding very much like Rom!)

Lineker, Lukaku and Sharp in that order that I can remember.

Lineker when he played for us was probably the best striker in the world. Lukaku's record in what wasn't a very good team is amazing and Sharp was probably our most successful.

Sharpie every day of the week for me. One of the proper legends.
Got to agree to that mate, though my first hero was Bobby Latchford, growing up as a young kid I spent countless hours kicking my Wembley trophy against the wall scoring down the street end sending the blues wild(although it drove my mum crazy;)) then when Bob left it was sharpy who I idolised.So for me its Sharpy, Bobby Latch and Lineker in that order.:D

Not the best in that list and not who I voted for, but what a player the Yak was.

One of my favourite seasons watching him bang goals in.

Not qualified to pass a comment on anything before the latch although my old man would put the golden vision and big Joe as top 3 .We'd agree Sharpie was up there,I'd put latch number 2 after Sharp. To discuss Dunc, Yak and Bagofcement is,sorry, an insult to the history of the club
