How on earth can Lukaku be on the list and Kevin Campbell not be on it?

I'm not just saying this because Kev saved us, he was the better player. (he wasn't quite the same after the injury and I think this clouds peoples memories of how good he was a little bit)

haha I know, its silly, Kevin Campbell is one of the most important players in our recent IE post 80s history

No Rod Belfitt? Or Bernie the bolt? lollol most deadly? Lineker despite only being here for a year. Imo Royle, Latchford, Sharp, Hickson, Rooney, Young come before Moaning Rom.

ach, forgot him too. well to be honest as good as the likes of Andy Gray, Heath & Superkev were they honestly aren't on par with Latchford, Lineker or Sharp. But I'd agree if Cottee, Yakubu and Dunc can get on the list then so should they.

On stats, its easily Sharpe, Bob and Joe.

But on a personal level, for me, its a toss up between Joe and Dunc.

He was deadly, but at the expense of the way the team played and at the expense of other strikers scoring to a certain extent.

We won almost everything in 84/85 without Lineker, finished second in everything in 85/86 with Lineker, then won the league again in 86/87 without Lineker. Brilliant player but we were a better team without him.

Sharp gets my vote.

Graeme Sharp scored 24 goals in 85/86 while partnering Lineker which dropped to 12 goals in 86/87 without him so to say Lineker's goals were at the expense of other strikers isn't really true.

Sharp and Lineker were a deadly front two (64 goals between them in 85/86) and were a genuinely feared partnership that I wish had stayed together as they were only going to get better and better.
