Personally hope Martinez is our manager in 10 years time.
That said, if I had to pick someone.. I like the look of Slaviša Jokanović at the moment.

There would have been a long period of patience given to him. And if he was in charge for that long it means he would have turned it around. So that would be good. Not going to happen because he is not a big Club manager.

Not convinced by Laudrup - looking at the reasons why he left Swansea: http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...s/michael-laudrup-sacked-chris-wathan-6672972

Don't know enough about Bilic as a manager - is he good enough - seems a bit of a nutter?
"Yet, while the glory of those nights shone on the surface, it betrayed the growing concerns of what began to lie beneath. Concerns that reached such worrying heights over the weekend that last night’s outcome was sadly inevitable.

Necessary, too, given there were no real signs of the Dane being able to turn around an alarming slump in form nor win back a dressing room that, in the case of several senior players at the very least, was said to have lost faith in his managerial methods."

Sounds familiar..

Swansea it seems actually acted promptly on the situation.

The ironic thing is if at this present time we had Moyes or Smith as current manager, and Martinez was at any other premiership club playing the rubbish we are, and someone mentioned Martinez to Everton as a replacement, we would be sick at the thought of him coming to Goodison and inflicting his moronic philosophy on us.

That talks a lot but doesn't really go in to the details of the problems though. Laudrup and the Chairman fell out massively in the Summer over transfer targets. Once you do that publicly and then the Chairman gets rid of your backroom staff, what command do you have with the players? He was a dead man walking.

In his short time there Laudrup had won silverware, brought Michu in for a low price and bought Bone who they later sold for a big profit, with the lowest wage bill in the league! Not to mention the other players and doing it all in style. Laudrup came out and said that the chairman didn't go for his first or second choice tfr targets as he left it too long, and in the end it was his third list that they went at. I'd be interested to hear who was on his first list for sure.

Players have it too easy these days, I know people like stability but a bit like Swansea have done, you can have stability even with changing the manager. Sometimes people need to change to keep them on their toes.
