All the teams around us are inconsistent, we just seem to be more inconsistent than them.

That difficult run of fixtures will be grim for us. Arsenal and Chelsea away are horrible games, Liverpool at home isn´t much better. The United match is the only game you can realistically see us getting 3 points in. That run will probably cut us adrift enough to rule out any late charge for Europe.

I think Chelsea away will be the hardest game. Liverpool will run out of steam soon. We should have won the FA Cup tie, we had all the chances in the first half. We know what to expect from Arsenal and can give them a good game.

Got players to come back plus overall a bit of good fortune since Carlo so a solid 9th as we're still warmed up cack.

Get to summer without any more disasters to keep Carlo's stock high and hopefully the summer window.will reveal a marvellous plan

5th is there for the taking if we're good enough.... huge four games coming up after Palace at home. If we can stay unbeaten against Arsenal (A), Man U (H), Chelsea (A) and the RS (H) and maybe sneak a couple of wins, it will set us up well for the final season run-in.

It's just a question for me of which teams turn up, and that includes our opposition.

Palace - Lost 1 in 8 away games (i think).
Arsenal - Inconsistent, still finding their way under Arteta
Liverpool - Just a hard game, would i jeopardise any points if at the end of the season we had a european tour? You bet.
United - Probably the most inconsistent of the lot, who knows what you're getting.
Chelsea - Very strong against good teams, they counter attack, they have pace and youth. Whats our game plan? If we sit back and counter effectively, we can easily have a good go at them.

Realistically, we're probably the most frustrating team in the league (along with Chelsea), so I can't call it. If we took 9 points out the next 5, i'd be very happy.

5th or 6th.

Don't care. If we get European Footy, and we don't start it until September, i'd be very, very happy (and skint).

Absolutely. Me too.

5th-7th is a strong possibility but we have to try and get 6 points against Palace and Arsenal away and then who knows, we could get also get wins over Man Utd and in the derby. When was the last time we beat Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea in a season? I wonder how many times that has happened in the past 30 seasons?
