6th or 7th.I think we have a bit of catching up to do with the elite sides.I think it will probably take three years, for us to be ready to make a challenge for the top four places.But as i said in the Silva thread as long as we see good football, the team giving it's all, some wins against the likes of the rs Manchester City and United Arsenal Chelsea Spurs, then we'll all be happy.So yeah i'd say 6th is about as high as we can hope to finish, but hopefully we win a trophy!This club has some hope for the future again.

I’m sure it’s been said but maybe we wait until after the window to see where things sit. Ourselves and others will be making moves. No way to tell what the picture will look like other than me saying City win the league again no matter what.

Obviously we'll be around 7th. Because y'know that's what Everton does and have been doing for a long time. I'd like us to be nipping at the heels of the sky 6 all season. If one or more of those slip, then we need to be able to take advantage. I think that's the best we can do league wise.

Cup wise, who knows. It's a lottery.

I just want to see Everton getting it's act together and building a strong platform for prolonged improvement and some silverware over the next few seasons .

Leicester took advantage of the Sky 6 taking points of each other & making the King Power a fortress.

For us to do anything, we need to start beating the teams above us, make Goodison a bear pit again & hope the Sky 6 share the points around.

And who will finish 8th? Burnley will be playing Europa League football on Thursday nights. With a relatively small squad, they are unlikely to maintain their league form. And Leicester have lost Mahrez.

Could it be Newcastle, Palace or Bournemouth?

Finishing 50 points behind the Champions would be an improvement.
