We will finish a glorious 8th like in Koeman's first season. A huge improvement on the disastrous 8th Allardyce guided us to.

We need to finish much closer to the top 4 playing some good attractive football and have decent runs in both cup competitions.
Clear out of the squad with some good additions bought in to set a path for future progress.

I also had a bad feeling before the start of last season and that it would go tits up, so make of that what you will...

I really think, though maybe a little optimistic, our most likely finish is 6th. We were 8th even after a dreadful season, including a horrible manager, gaping holes in the squad, and bad management. We now have a well regarded DOF, that alone should bump us up over Burnley, some new players coming in and bad players leaving, and then a manager who at the very least is better than BFS, which should bump us up one more spot in a season where one of the top 6 is likely to falter.

I am confident for the forthcoming season, I can see us finishing in 5/6 place with a good cup run, maybe a final.
The unfortunate thing is I always feel confident at the start of a season. I must get it right once.
