What was your highest and lowest point of season 17/18?

High point of the season was the 1-0 lead over Manchester City in the second game of the season - if we had held on, we'd have been six points from two games, had qualified for the group stages of the Europa League, and had been spending money like confetti in pre-season. It was all downhill from that point on.

Low point of the season, Southampton away, Arsenal at home was embarrassing too.

Low points - after so much promise what could have been , spending too much on in the main defunct players , going into free fall which resulted in a season to forget capitulation against too many teams notably Southampton , Spurs , Man Utd , Arsenal , Team not showing any fight against the top teams

High points - going back to Goodison after many years away , Rooney goal v West ham and overall team performance , return of Seamus , come back v Watford after 2-0 down , Klopp losing it and ranting after our late equaliser pen against the R/S

1) Big Sam arriving
2) Big Sam Leaving

Oh yes and those two shabby little goals from Rooney and Siggy!

High points
1. View of game still obstructed by pillars
2. New canopy for FanZone

Low points
1. Journey to Goodison
2. Journey back home

Quite liked it before it started and enjoyed it being over not much more than that really .

In reality both within quick succession which I suppose is typical Everton . West Ham was probably the high point , such as that was and Southampton was without doubt the lowest it was a horrible horrible day and people can tell me we were never in danger but it was certainly in my mind that day as it was absolutely dreadful.

Southampton away defo - ladies and gentlemen we have lost cabin pressure and are beginning our descent into the sea. One of those performances.

Bigger than that, though, was the sort of incremental realisation that Koeman was a bluffer, was failing, and what the cost of that failure would be. Just killed my enthusiasm for watching us - any small momentum built up from an OK first season was immediately gone pre-season, club went into reverse and will take seasons to put right.

No high point - worst season since HK III / Walter Smith era.

High point: Either Rooney vs Stoke or his 3rd against West Ham. Oh and the last half an hour against Watford was as mental a 30mins as we’ve had in a fair while.

Low point: Allardyce being appointed. An absolute stain on our club’s history, that.

THIS

High Point: Leading away at Manchester City...

Low point: from the moment Sterling equalised the season just crumbled into an embarrassing farce.

The only hope is that we actually do have some good players who have been exposed to an absolute rudderless madhouse for 12 months.

Tom Davies, Sigurdsson, Lookman, Walcott, Coleman, Gana, Pickford are very good players and hopefully a few who have had awful seasons (Keane a prime example), can regain confidence and perform under a proper manager/coaching system.

It will be tough, but it is possible.

Yeah you're right - things can change quickly given the right conditions. Silva turning out to be good and some astute buys could get things turned round.
It's not like we'd be demanding instant top4 success anyhow - I think we're quite a patient fanbase IF the attitude is right on the pitch. People see some momentum building, a manager with a clear idea of how to win football managers, players engaged etc then I'd take that all day for next season.

High point - 4 points after 2 games. I really thought we were going somewhere good
Low point - waiting 5 weeks then ending up with Allardyce
