What was your highest and lowest point of season 17/18?

Low - the week we lost 5 - 1 to Atalanta and 4 - 1 to Southampton.

High - Hard to say. Beating Stoke, West Ham, Watford, Bournemouth etc shouldn't really be considered anything but routine. Draws, even V Man City and the RS away, shouldn't be celebrated as an achievement. Seamus Coleman returning comes nearest, I suppose.

High point. The Siggy goal. Some of the responses on here were priceless.

Many many low points. Southampton has to be the lowest I've been for years.

Also the sobering realisation that Allardyce was all we deserved.

Onwards and upwards though.

Zenith : probably coming back from 2-0 down to beat Watford (with Cleverley missing an injury time penalty...lol)
Nadir : too many equal low points to list.

Employing the expression in its originally disparaging, derisive sense, Evertonians were subjected to a right dog-and-pony show of a season. Unsurprising, considering we had a playing team full of yard dogs and a managerial team full of cart horses.

Me personally, low point was the defeat at home to arsenal. We were so comprehensively outplayed and I was genuinely devastated after that match for some reason. I think looking back it was the point where I fully realised that it was not going to be a good season at all.

High point is a close call between Niasse saving the day at home to Bournemouth after being written off by absolutely everyone, especially Moonhead, and also Seamus Coleman sprinting the length of the pitch in the 90th minute against Leicester, a game which I think was arguably our most complete performance of the season. Either way, a very uninspiring couple of high points.

All the horsing around in the summer transfer window didn't help, though Pickford did turn out to be the dog's bollocks.

Getting a point at City in the first game was something, as it turned out. But not beating 10 men set the trend...

Rooney's goal at West Ham
It's a weird one for me this. I was absolutely gutted with that result, for probably the only time in the season. I was just numb for every loss after that. I went from numb to devastated after Southampton, not the result, the realisation how low we'd sunk. Then a bit of relief when we got safe, then back to numb again.

All in all, V poor.

High points - Rooney 3rd goal vs West Ham. Struggling after that in all honesty. Niasse for his attitude and guts to fight for himself and the team.

Low Points - 4-1 vs Soton. But also the 4-0 vs Man Utd and the 3-0 vs Atalanta. That was the realisation that Koeman was a fraud and we were going nowhere after a summer of such enthusiasm.
