What or who do we actually need to sign?

they got £25m for Lescott and £13m for AJ. that is all.

Arteta - £10m
Rooney - £25m
Yakubu - £1.5m
Pienaar - £3m

We got £13m for AJ before the banks told us they were at the end of their tether. We need to pay back millions of pounds a year in debt, and we've lost a lot of money this season through a decrease in TV appearances and attendances. Other clubs know how financially fragile we are.

If a bid of £20m comes in for Baines, he'll be gone.

Some players have to go before we get players in. so before we get Pienaar someone is going to have to leave. im not sure how much we need to pay the banks this year but thats gonna come 1st too. we will have a problem if we sell 3 or 4 fringe players to get 1 in will make our small squad even smaller.

Agree with this, Kenwrights also openly named Felli & Baines as 2 key players he would not sell, We know Moyes rates them both highly & Elstone has said there isn't a need to sell in the summer - all of which points to the conclusion that if they are sold, it won't be on the cheap.
If everyone played by the same rules as Pinocchio, these two would have mile long noses.

How about Martin Petrov on a free? Experienced, still got good legs, good work ethic and can whip in an awesome cross. 4 goals and 9 assists this season in a very poor Bolton side is a good return. At worst, would be a good squad player.

Reports our saying that Fergy has been given the greenlight for a £10m bid in for Baines.

Bill Kenwright said they wouldn't sell Rooney for less than £50m

Bill Kenwright said 'The fortress sports fund money will be in the bank by monday', it never appeared.

Bill Kenwright said years ago that Goodison was soon to fail it's safety certification. Elstone denounced this.

Bill Kenwright said the money for the Kings dock was ringfenced.

If you take stock in anything he or the pack of bare faced lying c***s on that board say then you're playing right into their hands.

Yeah no way will he go for that, but sign that clubs are gonna try to exploit our poor financial predicament with cheeky bids like that? Reports could be bollocks like.
