Plenty of sides down further.
Blackburn won the Prem.
Pompey the cup.
More recently than we've won anything and they are leagues down now.

The future of our club is totally dependant on the new ground.
If that goes tits up, so will Everton football club.

Vault me.
No brainer mate, we'd sink like a stone if Moshiri naffs off and we're left with this rabble.

I think the first thing is to can Walsh. This DOF lark seems to be a job for the old boys and rarely works
In my opinion it undermines the manager, a manager is employed to do a job, not half a job

I doubt the stadium will happen so we need to come out and say it is a go`er or not, and get the focus back on the feild
and results. Moshiri needs to either buy Kenwright out or they both need to sell to a credidible buyer, I believe the Lady
who looked at Newcastle and had to deal with that `bellend` Ashley is in the market for a football club. I would be sounding that out as
they appear to be far wealthier than farhad

We need to stop throwing money at has been players with only a season left in them, this is reckless and is damaging to the club
long term.

I think the damage to the club was when Moyes left, Kenwright was in a comfort zone and did not know what to do
we should have tried to keep the backroom staff, physios coaches etc It was a massive upheaval and we have struggled since

We haven’t been right since Martinez’s second season.

I remember the team spirit under Moyes was brilliant - you could actually see it. We still had that in Martinez’s first season + Lukaku, but then the Martinez effect of poor fitness and no defence kicked in.

Koeman obviously wasn’t the man to turn the situation around - he actually made things worse with very poor signings.

Basically, we’ve had a couple of duff managers after years of stability under Moyes. We just haven’t adapted to change either on the pitch or at board level with Moshiri’s buy-in.

We need to get through this season, have a massive clear out and find a charismatic, hungry manager who wants to build a team almost from scratch. Good luck finding him though.

the club and the players have lost all connection with the fans. goodison used to be one of the hardest places for a team to go, now with the crap we are being served up everyone is a bit....meh. everything needs to change starting with a clear out at board level. elstone, kenwright, steve walsh and big sam all need cleared out of our club.

Sometimes when things start to go wrong it is hard to stop the slide and to get things to improve, it can be a downward spiral.

We have been unlucky with injuries to key players Coleman, Barkley(up to Christmas), Funes Mori and of course McCarthy.

We spent a lot of money, but not on the right type of players and not for the right positions... I am not including Tosun and Walcott here.

I do think the addition of two more players.. a left back and a strong central midfielder could turn the team around and players who have looked so ordinary could again look like good players.

I don't think the players are bad, but they are playing badly...at the moment.

In my opinion our back 4 is very poor. Any manager would struggle with our defence. Kenny and Holgate look decent but they need solid and reliable defenders around them to make up for their lack of experience. Williams and Martina do not offer this.

Also in retrospect Koeman was a terrible appointment. When he swanned off to play golf before signing the warning signs were there. I don't really think he wanted to be at Everton but in the end the money was too good to turn down. Lukaku just papered over the cracks for him last season.

Now we are trying to sort out this mess of a team that Koeman and Walsh have assembled (presumably without even discussing it between each other!).

I have no idea why a new CB and a new LB have not been made a priority.

All of this, plus Moshiri needs to get rid of the Kenwright " boys pen " dewey eyed brigade, that`s stopping the club from moving forward and keeping the likes of Elstone in a job.

The club needs ripping out from top to bottom, without sentimentality and this isn`t going to happen whilst Kenwright and co are is weeping faux tears into their royal blue hankies.

I would hope against hope that Moshiri hasn`t got to be as rich as he is, without being a ruthless and shrewd man and behind the scenes is preparing for the day when he has a free reign to move the club forwards.

Whilst Kenwright et al remain at the club, we`ll remain wedded to the past and with a continuing small time mentality.
Nail on head......its going to take a long time to achieve winning ways again.....5 years minimum imo, it is not going to change overnight...look at Spurs (yes I know they've not won much) but they are at least aiming for the top end of the table.....ffs Moshiri wield the axe !!

We've got Leicester next Claude Puel seems a decent manager, we missed that one. They're far better than us can't see us getting anything out of that game.

We’ll pass it 65 times in the midfield then Leicester intercept and over the top to Vardy, and goal. West Brom done it twice in the first 10 mins, luckily only one went in.

We’ve massively fallen behind our traditional rivals - we should be up there with Spurs at least.

Spurs are installing a cheese room in their new stadium - a cheese room! That’s where our priorities should be - I can’t even get a decent Gin & Tonic at Goodison!

If our new stadium doesn’t have a conservatory at the very least, then I really do have concerns for the club.

None of these priorities even seem to be on the club’s radar. Moshiri has got a lot to do to prove himself to me.
