What if Liverpool won the title?

as has been said already, would you and your fellow kopites rather us win it than the others ?

I live surrounded by Mancs, R/S, Bolton, Wigan & always said that when/if Utd finally won it I'd leave the country, I believe it was 3 days later that I did & left for 7 years. Sadly that option is now not an option for me, so NO I don't want you to win it due to how intolerable you all were when you won it in September & December.

As for Aldo's best team since the 1 that he was in...... get from up your own hoop lad cos the 85-86 team was far superior to the 1 that you was in, it had to be to have beaten the side we had to the title.

The one Aldridge was in was AFTER the 85/86 team, so it is the best since then.

And yes, close though it may be the 87/88 LFC team was better than 85/86.

I know people who support Liverpool who are good folk, so I'd be happy for them. But in general, I wouldn't be happy with them winning the league

I was enjoying their relative mediocrity (Even during the "lean" years they've still won the Champions League and a Cup Treble)

Honestly don't care who win it tbh

It doesn't effect us in anyway so why should I be

If they get the title we will here about it for a month then the build up to the WC will kick in

Im more arsed with how much money Martinez will have in the summer

I'm leaving the 2 weeks after Sunday 11th May clear in my diary, as on the off chance that Liverpool do manage to lift the title, I'm taking the next available flight to anywhere until the fallout has settled.....

Part of me wants you to get within a whisker and then be denied by a dubious refereeing decision, preferably by Howard Webb :)

Fly out of Kuala Lumpur and you may never have to deal with the fallout.

I live in Liverpool and what annoys me is all the plastics and part time Liwepwl "fans" crawling out from underneath their stones. You dont hear FA from them most of the time but any scent of success they're everywhere. Last sunday on my FB page there were comments from people who have never been to a game in their lives - like most of the blerts on rawk. No I don't want you lot to win and if you want to call me a bitter then so be it - that's your problem not mine. Perhaps even you will acknowledge the damage done to EFC over Heysel ...but I bet you don't

I'm not overly arsed about their fans or the club. I just don't really want Suarez, Gerrard and Rodgers to get what they want. This is Gerrard's last shot. It'll be great when the realisation sets in that it's not going to happen for him, ever. Even acer that he got his hopes up in a big way one more time. I think they're one bad result from it being over and I think that will happen. The question is when. Could be the last game of the season. I reckon it'll be Chelsea that do it though. 0-1. They will come to defend at Anfield and the kopites will foam.

I am of the opinion that City will win it. They just need to get Aguero back to fitness. I'm not sure when he's scheduled to come back, but if they're in front when he does, I don't think anyone will catch them.

The are only 2 problems if Liverpool win the league
1) It means Everton haven't (again) - this is the case for any club winning it apart from us
2) The massed ranks of ex-Liverpool players in the media will bang on and on about it - with not one mention of the diving, biting and moaning to refs that has contributed to the outcome.

Why should anyone care?

I baffles me how any Evertonian can say he or she wouldn't bothered if they were to win it.

Any right thinking person comes to that

I'm not bothered what Liverpool win - I'm only interested in things that benefit Everton. My only thoughts on LFC winning the league (which I honestly can't see happening) are;

1/ We'd never hear the end of it

2/ It would be a one off win a la Blackburn 1995 - dominance would not occur.

Aldridge has come out and said, " this is the best Liverpool side since he was playing"

Aldo is spouting blocks yet again, they've had much better sides that haven't came close to winning the title.

The side with Fowler, claymore and schteve mcmanannanmam was just as good as this side but fell short at the last hurdle which I suspect will happen this season too.

I also expect sides to suss brenda's tactics out next season too

Liverpool are one of the top three highest spenders in the league (and would be at any set five year periods for the past 25 years you care to mention) and haven't won the title...a period when 6 different teams have won it.

It's been a magnificent period of catastrophic underachievement for them in that respect and we can all be glad of it coinciding with the same period in our history when we've been led by donkeys off the pitch and our own aspirations have been blocked. However, if you keep throwing cash at something as they always do then even their disastrous period in the league was always bound to come to an end. I'm not saying it'll be this year - it might be, but I'd say there's four dogs in that fight and it's far from certain who'll finish where - but it'll happen sometime soon. If they dont get it this season they'll get it eventually when they're sold on by Henry for a massive profit to some Sheikh/oligarch who'll pump in a billion in a couple of seasons.

It was/is always going to happen; it's just hilarious they haven't done it for near a quarter of a century and hopefully they wont until the 30 year anniversary of their last is at least reached.
