Both sides were poor . I thought WH would have really gone for it, but we started the better, but offered little upfront. Barry marginally bettter, unlucky with header. Biggest positive was when George came on. Var for handball beyond a joke.

Man City next, can’t wait to see what inventive / blatantly bent VAR decisions they conspire to [Poor language removed] us over with this bank holiday Monday.
No doubt the Premier league have booked their usual training meeting this Tuesday titled ‘how to bend the rules in any situation to suit the narrative’.

You're missing out reference to our club.

Some player sheedy. I only remember us from the early 90s but have seen videos. I also have seen videos of bob latchford in the late 70s who was one of the best centre forwards in the clubs history. Did you see him play at Goodison?
I was lucky enough to be able to walk to the ground in my formative years. Went most games, and had a season ticket in 6th form (£99!). When I went to Uni in 89, I worked most home games in a sponsors lounge, and they let me sit in the Directors box as long as I did the half time teas/coffees. It was mainly women of a certain age working there (including my own mother and aunts!) so there was no problem with them getting off at kick off.

Occasionally I was asked to do the Players lounge after, which was really for media. I met so many players, and personalities. And I got paid. Would've done it for free.

Kevin Sheedy was one of the most humble and softly spoken players you could meet. But a genius on the pitch.

While I normally couldn’t care less about what happens to other teams provided it doesn’t affect Everton can you imagine how Spurs fans would feel if they finish a point behind West Ham and find themselves in the Championship due to blatant cheating. If this happens Spurs should sue the referees association for loss of earnings. Something has to be done, last week was bad but yesterday was ridiculous, it would appear the referees are now no longer interested in appearing to be fair. It is now time to bring in referees from different countries and not to name the referee until 2 hours before the kick off.
Similar situation for Spurs as the Cult had for the Rodri handball not given with them chasing City for the title few years back, surprisingly little fuss was made by them, probably because the result put us in even more relegation trouble....

Awful defending for both goals. Another goal conceded at close range from a corner and another injury time goal to see us lose. We have to improve that and fast.

Yes VAR and the standard of refereeing is beyond a joke, but this is the easiest season yet to secure a european place and we are massively blowing it

A point today puts us joint 8th - Europe
Not sure why you can’t see that
Still games to play but, if we don’t qualify on the back of a nailed on pen, it’s poor from VAR (it’s poor anyway obvs).
I can see a point would have put us in joint 8th....but your statement was that the non-penalty has cost us Europe and millions of pounds. My point is one erroneous VAR decision hasn't cost us Europe and millions of pounds, other things have. Not sure why you can't see that.
