Man City next, can’t wait to see what inventive / blatantly bent VAR decisions they conspire to [Poor language removed] us over with this bank holiday Monday.
No doubt the Premier league have booked their usual training meeting this Tuesday titled ‘how to bend the rules in any situation to suit the narrative’.

Nothing will be needed, City win is a nap.

While I normally couldn’t care less about what happens to other teams provided it doesn’t affect Everton can you imagine how Spurs fans would feel if they finish a point behind West Ham and find themselves in the Championship due to blatant cheating. If this happens Spurs should sue the referees association for loss of earnings. Something has to be done, last week was bad but yesterday was ridiculous, it would appear the referees are now no longer interested in appearing to be fair. It is now time to bring in referees from different countries and not to name the referee until 2 hours before the kick off.

I agree & have said for a while we should have foreign referees officiating here, send our lot abroad.
There would be fewer biased decisions as referees have their favourite teams from childhood, & unfortunately, it appears to stay with them when they grow up & become refs.

Nothing can we worse than the Rodri handball

Didn't we score straight afterwards? Therefore it didn't actually affect the result, not that I'm excusing an appalling decision.

Nobody will ever know that. Nobody can predict the future. We could have got that penalty and then had more time on the clock to go 2-1 ourselves, nobody will ever know.

All that is known is that at 1-0 down Everton are yet again denied a clear penalty kick due to a player hand balling it. This is in a season btw where two players have been sent off for violent conduct for hair pulling. Apparently a hair pull in the middle of a field is worse than a handball in the penalty area. The rules are just crazy.

Especially when you consider the hand ball decisions given against us earlier in the season.

Reverted back to his normal self after England call up.
[/I thought he had a poor game yesterday but apart from KDH who had a good game? Maybe Charly Alcaraz when Moyes decided to get him on the field for four minutes plus added time, he looked interested in getting hold of the ball and doing something useful with it like having a hand in the goal, will he play next week.

Back to James Garner that the quietest game he’s had this season, he’s the player of the season, for me, despite getting moved around a lot, no other player has been as consistently good as him for Everton.

He's been great this season though? One iffy game doesn't change that.

If only there was a rule invented where another player can come in for him at, say, the 70th minute every so often, so that he doesn't have to play every second of football for us this season... But alas, such rules haven't been invented yet, so he can't be substituted.

Regardless of the penalty fiasco, that was a shocking performance and if I was a spurs fan I would be fuming as why we didn't turn up yesterday for that game, the clubs mentality is rotten to the cure and has been for years.

Moyes certainly has had a big factor in this.

The New owners need to make a statement on which way they want the club to go
