Nope. Goal kick. VAR can only intervene if they feel ths ref has got a penalty decision wrong, not a corner. So VAR said itbwabt a penalty cause it was a natural action of grappling a player (fouling) but the fact it was given as a goal.kick can not be over turned because they arent allowed to look at that.

I can accept the first part was just normal jostling. But the bit where he reaches round and punches it out is a problem for me. The ref was hopeless all match. Not that it excuses our lacklustre performance. Their fans are sheight. Deserve everything they get

How's it both a penalty and harsh. I guess they are saying he didn't intend to punch it out. Regardless surely it's a pen

Minor and annoying point: The fact that Alcaraz came on for Gueye after the pen wasnt given left us short for that Wilson goal. That is irksome.

And unfashionable Soucek, scoring, clearing off the line, and denying Barry on the George pull back. Annoying.

might be better to ask for certain individuals with form to not be involved with var. I'd suggest at the same time not diverting them to rs or manutd games.
