Tbf we didn’t beat a rubbish Burnley at their gaffA small percentage which can be crucial in a game of fine margins. As we saw yesterday they could only beat a rubbish Burnley 1 nil so they aren't exactly unplayable

Or wolves at ours, or spurs at ours, or West Ham at ours, or Leeds at theirs, or Leeds at oursTbf we didn’t beat a rubbish Burnley at their gaff
Dunno if you've just pulled that figure out of the air, but it feels accurate. Which is pretty shocking. We've scored about 2 free kicks in 4/5 years.
Some player sheedy. I only remember us from the early 90s but have seen videos. I also have seen videos of bob latchford in the late 70s who was one of the best centre forwards in the clubs history. Did you see him play at Goodison?Dunno if you've just pulled that figure out of the air, but it feels accurate. Which is pretty shocking.
I don't watch other matches that much due to location / time difference - occasionally see highlight reels / goals on social media etc. But am I right in thinking that there seems to be fewer free kicks scored in general? I'm an old fart, and can think back to the 80s when a free kick felt like a penalty, with Sheedy - back then midfielders would regularly get close or beyond double figures for goals.
We seem to historically do okay overall away at West Ham. I remember going to a few games at the old Boleyn when I worked in "that London", and never saw us lose. Even saw us win 4-0 with a Barmby (spit) hat-trick. Ended up going on the sauce to celebrate and somehow we talked ourselves into going to the Blind Beggar in Whitechapel. Fortunately no more bullet holes appeared.
(He probably will)Blow as much as much as you want you filthy Caravan dwellers, but that bubble is getting burst..
0 - 3
( Unless Barry starts )
Don't think either manager will see it that way. Two safety first managers playing not to lose, I can see a 0-0.A draw is no use to either side so I’m going for 1-1
Its a bit early for drinking. Beating City would boost are ailing chance of Europe. Is it still half term. You really believeMoyes would love to sacrifice us getting to Europe and disappointing all our fans just to help Arteta out. Some of our fans are probably weird.
While the number of direct free kick goals is indeed down amongst Premier League teams, that stat feels very close to being true, and it's embarrassing. We've scored about 2 free kicks in 4/5 years.
