I put our decline down to Cahill being injured to be honest, and the mental blow of going out of europe unfairly.

I agree entirely, if only Yobo could have put that header away, we'd be in a very different position now.

Europe was certainly a big factor but even moysie said he needed to rest certain players and freshen things up but did,nt have the numbers.

I think he said he didnt have a viable alternative mate, he actually said the number were grand.

Hibbert won't be back for a while. Seen him hobbling down Goodison Road yesterday and i mean proper limping.

Anyways he looked at me and according to my Dad i gave him the biggest evils ever.

but looking at kenwrights and robert earls body language yesterday i just get a sneaky feeling things are moving forward this weekend behind the scenes.

with all the bad news and goings on they certainly didnt seem unhappy , at loggerheads , chessed off with the manager or concerned.

in fact they seemed a bit serious , content and looked like they meaned business.

The club (be it Kenright, Moyes or just whoever the hell is responsible for our squad being in the state its in right now) are treading a very very very fine line right now.

If come the end of next season things turned out ok and we did do even better than this year fine, but if not and we struggle then they will have a lot to answer for.

We can only wait and see what happens though and hope they've got it right.

He's not [Poor language removed] awful, he's decent and as a squad player he's useful. He hasn't once moaned about not playing, he just gets on with it and always will. I admire that in a player.

Hibbert had some really stand out games last season, man of the match games in my opinion. The two Arsenal games, the two City games, the Villa game away where he marked Ashley Young out the game etc. He's a very useful squad player.

In my opinion, Phil Neville limits Tony Hibbert.

Whenever Hibbert played right back he always had Neville and Carsley infront of him, that alone weakens us.

He's never been given a chance at right back with our proper midfield infront on him, by that I'm talking about Arteta, Pienaar, Osman, Carsley and Cahill. An attacking minded midfield that keeps the ball and takes the pressure off the team. With a midfield like that Hibbert could just concentrate on his defending and keep it simple.

Neville always has the advantage, when he plays right back we always have our strongest midfield infront of him making his job easier. Hibbert has never had that oppurtunity.

Abit Negative really...Rodwell, no not up to premiership standard, but he wont need to be yet.

Gosling should play CM/DM really.

Osman should play centre mid, nothing else.

Thing is Dom they won't be ready to start the new season. We all know that Moyes never really plays new signings for at least two games. Something is going on and to be honest getting a bit fed up with it all.
