Why would Arteta go from assistant coach at City to assistant coach at Everton ?
Because he makes Guardiola's HT cup of tea for him and lays out a few cones in training. That makes for a good Everton manager apparently.
'kin heard it all now. We're on the brink of disaster at the club and some believe a no mark like him can help us out of it. Staggering.
Coaching badges? Impressive student?
Heard the same about Duncan Ferguson too and I wouldn't let him make a HT cup of tea never mind manage the club.
We need a manager not an errand boy.
Exactly.
Heres one. Paul Clement has had more experience and pedigree as an assistant and won trophies with Ancelloti everywhere he went at top clubs.
He's not good enough to be a manager.
Yet some think Arteta would be?
Insanity.
You make a similar point to mine about Brian KiddExactly.

This all day It's hilarious the way we perceive and paint pictures of some coaches when in reality we know very little of their work. Steve Round = idiot yes man big dunc = Sam's messenger boy but low and behold because he sits next to a legend on heated seats at eastlands arteta = footballing genius and saviour of Everton. Ridiculous and disgusting if he's even consideredCoaching badges? Impressive student?

Yep totally agree ... this crossed my mind as soon as I saw both names in the chatterJust saying? worth a punt, with a succession policy in place for Arteta to step up after Arsene finally retires? I personally think this would be a great opportunity for all concerned.
I obviously stand to be corrected!
Football has moved on, Wenger hasn’t and all the pots won in the early 2000’s doesn’t change that.
