He was convicted on two cases, two women, one woman claimed he raped her, then she continued to have sex with him for months and sent him flirty emails?

I'm sure he has taken advantage of women, the casting couch is as old as Hollywood itself, but some of these women were sleeping with him to further their career for me and knew exactly what was going on, and are now crying foul play.

Seems an odd thing to come down on Weinstein's side here. Very strange to frame this as the women's fault.

I have a problem with a woman claiming rape, then continuing to have sex with the man she alleged to be a rapist for months and sending flirty messages during the time she continued to sleep with him.

You knw even if you're in a relationship with somebody, even if you carry on seeing the person afterwards (because life is messy and complicated), even if you have feelings for the person... It's still rape.

Which has nothing to do with the cases and evidence brought to court, I'm talking about a woman claiming rape, then continuing to have sex with him and friendly sexual email exchanges with him for months.

If you are raped, do you continue to meet and have sex with your rapist?, have flirty exchanges over email prior to meeting up and having sex?

My opinion, she willingly had sex with him to try to further her career.

Do you think it might be possible that your version of events might differ slightly from what was actually presented to the court for the jury to consider? I very much doubt he would have been found guilty if you were telling your version as the prosecution lawyer.

One thing that struck me is how established the idea of the casting couch is. It's obviously based on a real and actual activity.

What other activities are going on right now that we don't take seriously are actually something that needs to be taken seriously in the future? I suspect that those in the discriminated sections of society are the ones who know best. I would not be surprised that once a topic becomes known it'll be as it's so obvious.

Anyway Weinstein. Got away with it for so long. Hopefully this is a step towards the end of this particular brand of abuse.

I found that weird. Like its possible to kill someone by accident, as in 3rd degree murder. I do struggle with having sex by accident though.
