Im not defending anyone.

What i am doing is asking what the evidence was as from what i read...it seemed like there wasnt anything clear...however the 'me too' movement made it seem like the guy was a cert to be sent down...with clear evidence.

I cant see what sent him down? Have you got the link to any evidence ?

No Zat, thats why we have courts of law and not courts of public opinion.

A court is any person or institution, often as a government institution, with the authority to adjudicate legal disputes between parties and carry out the administration of justice in civil, criminal, and administrative matters in accordance with the rule of law.[1] In both common law and civil law legal systems, courts are the central means for dispute resolution, and it is generally understood that all people have an ability to bring their claims before a court. Similarly, the rights of those accused of a crime include the right to present a defense before a court.

The system of courts that interprets and applies the law is collectively known as the judiciary. The place where a court sits is known as a venue. The room where court proceedings occur is known as a courtroom, and the building as a courthouse; court facilities range from simple and very small facilities in rural communities to large buildings in cities.

No Zat, I don't. If you have more evidence than the mountain of historical allegations and weeks of courtroom witness testimony and evidence presented there, then you should go the police
Gentle Harv has been carved up good and proper here

Did anybody see any evidence that was used in the conviction of the Yorkshire Ripper?

Maybe he was innocent.
ACTUALLY, ive never seen any evidence that Hitler committed mass murder.

Just lots of hearsay.

Why all this drama when I asked what the "actual" evidence was to convict him?

Ive not discussed physical evidence or testimony...ive not written that hes innocent.

Ive just asked what the actual.evidence was against him...

Testimony IS evidence Zat. Multiple people are on death row because a single person testified at their trial that they saw x do y. Multiple women swore on oath that Weinstein assaulted them, that is evidence. The jury can believe them or Weinstein, they chose the former.

Thats what Ive been asking, what actual evidence convicted him?

So it thats other victims testimony--that the jury believed--which swung the case, then thats the answer i was looking for.

Where I had left it was when:

1: Both women admitted to continuing meeting him in hotel rooms many times + asking to intro friends and family members to him.

2: His lawyer seemed to have proved that one womans testimony about how he removed her dress was highly unlikely + how she was forced inside the room etc etc

I stopped following after the media reports at that time.

Was wondering now hes been found guilty how the prosecution disproved the above...but doesnt seem like they needed to.

It all seems quite strange to me.

I think its proper weird you are defending such a man.

Why are you saying im DEFENDING someone found guilty of rape?

Ive asked 1 question about the evidence.

WTF is wrong with you.

Here are details of the testimony of the six women at his New York trial.

I don’t think there was any attempt to disprove item 1, I think it was accepted by both prosecution and defense. The context of those meetings was obviously disputed.

I don’t think his in LA trial for forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, sexual penetration by use of force and sexual battery by restraint has currently been scheduled.

Why do you find it strange?

A poster asks about evidence and all of a sudden hes accused of supporting rape.

Outrageous.
