Dave wouldn't know as he's always right first time...

An invaluable attribute. Hope the club are aware, the managers position awaits...

I think the fans and club have to back Dunc on this but I understand the criticism, in a perfect world this doesn't happen. It's not a perfect world though and maybe Keane was looking sharp in training or dunc just wanted to give him a taste of first team action to keep him engaged and spur him on? We dont know, but once he's on and not performing accordingly, the manager has every right to hook him and he deserves backing in this.

The clubs where the interests of individual players, however young and talented outweighs those of the collective don't tend to be successful ones.

Right decision? Possibly.

Handled correctly? Possibly not.

"End of Kean's Everton career". Don't be ridiculous. The actions of a caretaker manager who is only going to be in charge for a handful of games is not going to decide his entire career here.

Repeatedly being fined for his attitude and bombed by two managers even though he’s meant to be one of Europe’s hottest prospects, that says it all for me.
Any half decent manager that comes in will give him the same treatment unless he turns things around.
I hope he does but I expect him to join the long list of young foreign players that didn’t make it here.

There is an argument that, of those last 20 outings, this is United's worst side and Everton's best side - man for man.

You could argue it was our best opportunity to win at Old Trafford in decades. Of course, I wouldn't have placed that expectation on them but I didn't feel inferior to that United side yesterday.
Mate did you see how many injuries we had yesterday. Don't be ridiculous.

Even if he is lazy, people are underestimating the effect this humiliation will have on him. It is bad enough being embarrassed in front of a small group of people, or when giving a presentation.

Imagine getting humiliated in front of 70,000 people. When you are just 19!

A self-inflicted wound though. You sign on for big money and you are expected to do something, not just stroll around. I'd stroll around for a quarter of his money and be well pleased. Put yourself on this stage and you expect the earned praise and/or brick-bats that go with it. If you don't, you may as well give up.

Not when you are 19. I doubt money even counts much to him at this stage.

It was straight out of the Jim McLean management handbook. But Jim would have been honest about it

Imagine years of that 'kin crap like yesteday?

Dave, the players he had to choose from yesterday were not our most exciting or skilful.

Holgate was nevertheless unrecognisable from the demotivated performance against Leicester, and Bambi seems to have grown antlers!

In the ladt two games Dunc has managed to take a sow's ear and turn it into a solid leather wallet that was fit for purpose....the silk purse can come later.

The bad judgement was not in hauling him off but for not grabbing him as he came off and telling him his reasons. Maybe he would not have understood a word Dunc said anyway but he should have made that gesture. Kean was also wrong to walk off down the tunnel. But he is only 19. Dunc has a lot to learn hence the bad judgement referred to above. An experienced man manager would not have behaved like that.

I thought he was going to sub Richarlison b/c he had run himself into the ground. Having said that, Kean lost the ball too many times. If a player is a liability in the last few mins he has to be hooked. Give him some minutes in Wednesday and hopefully he works hard and gets a goal.

Probably be back in Italy by Wednesday lol

So in short we have 2 schools of thought.

it’s ‘aw but what about the little darlings feelings and it happening on the big screen too’ vs ‘he was bobbins and blowin out his Winkin eye’

and then obvs there’s the select few who just don’t like that Ferguson is in charge and will grip onto anything to have a go at him with.

have I missed anything?
