If Moise Kean shows 10% of what Niasse has shown us then he can be great. Lets try to merge them and make a super player!

He is obviously very talented but he needs some of that Niasse work ethic or he will be one of the first players out in the next window. We love a player to put in effort, the team is going to be 100% focused on that with DF in charge and its a good thing as most of the senior players havnt been doing anything under Silva.

So in short we have 2 schools of thought.

it’s ‘aw but what about the little darlings feelings and it happening on the big screen too’ vs ‘he was bobbins and blowin out his Winkin eye’

and then obvs there’s the select few who just don’t like that Ferguson is in charge and will grip onto anything to have a go at him with.

have I missed anything?
That’s not the case. Ferguson has largely done a good job, but that does not mean people cannot question his decisions.

I would imagine the vast majority are really pleased with Duncan, but at the same time there are signs that he lacks the experience to be a manager at this stage.

I doubt he will be here much longer. The signs are all negative - he cant even be bothered to put in a decent shift!

I didn't watch the game live, I just saw the goals and the highlights. but it looked as though Kean didn't run at any point in the highlights. I'm not saying that is the be all and end all, but if the manager thinks he is not putting the effort in, he has the right to take him off. It does worry me long term though as Kean appears to be struggling

I very much doubt this has come out of the Blue, which kinda tells it's own story about the kid.

When he came on I said straight away to me mate that he looked 'Big' then after 10-15 mins me mate pointed out that he looked like he was struggling and was 'out of breath', que 5 mins later him being dragged of.

i get that. But then I could say the same thing about every manager we’ve had since about 1988. They’ve all made decisions which show a lack of experience (or expertise), no?

Now you say it, we have largely erred in the side of inexperience since Walter Smith! I guess Koeman was the most experienced when he took the job. Quite surprising when you think about it.

If a player ain't performing to the desired level the manager wants him to, then surely he gets hooked, price tag and reputation should not come into it, that must go for subs as well.

Another thing to consider with this incident is one discussed before ........we really have no leaders on the pitch. Reidy et al would have been screaming at him to do his job yesterday, it’s no wonder Dunc is having to do so much shouting himself.

What signs has Duncan shown shown that he lacks experience to be a manager? Two very good results so far like.

The bad judgement was not in hauling him off but for not grabbing him as he came off and telling him his reasons. Maybe he would not have understood a word Dunc said anyway but he should have made that gesture. Kean was also wrong to walk off down the tunnel. But he is only 19. Dunc has a lot to learn hence the bad judgement referred to above. An experienced man manager would not have behaved like that.
Not sure a touchline discussion would have been helpful. Dunc will have been seething, as would have been Kean. If Dunc then placed a vice-like grip on his throat and said, "That was a (insert own colourful language) disgrace, if you ever (more language) do that again I'll shove your (language) teeth down your throat", I don't imagine it would have ended well. Just my take on things - don't possess any qualifications in diplomacy or anything.

i think he means actual managerial experience - of which he has 2 games.

but then we’re talking about Arteta who has 0 games managing.

I think most of the time read ‘expertise’ rather than ‘experience’
