He came on, wandered around aimlessly for 18 minutes and was blowing out his arse after 10, so he was taken off.

Was about to post this...

Bloke looked shattered...

Came on + asked Richarlison where he was playing

DCL told him twice to come closer to him

He asked Iwobi where to stand at a corner (that video) then bent over...

I did think it was odd when he came on he ran to the left wing and Rich told him to go central. Is he not listening? Does he not understand? Is he not very bright? It seemed a very very strange thing to do. I think there's more to this because if he's been hooked for not listening or following instructions then fair play to Dunc. I have stated previously, I thought he was hooked because he was giving away stupid fouls around our area.

I'm sure it's been posted, but a few further comments by Fergusson.

“He struggled to get up to the speed of the game,” Ferguson said. “I asked him to go centre-forward, then asked him to change to the right-hand side, which is unfair on him. That’s when I said I’m going to put on a guy who can handle it a bit better.

“I think it’s understandable if you’re a sub and getting subbed off. I can see why he’s upset. But it’s for the good of the team. I’ll speak to him next time I see him, I’ll mention it.

“I’ve been there as a player myself, I’ve been subbed on and subbed off myself. He’ll be fine. He’ll come again, he’s only 19.”

We know Dunc's character. Can imagine he's the type to expect players to give everything for the shirt, play with emotion as well as your head which is why some players will of taken a liking to the way he does things. He knows the club and the fans inside out and whilst he's extremely inexperienced as a manger he's going to require maximum effort from everyone on the pitch.

If you aren't prepared to give a 100% then expect to get dragged off. For all we know it could all go wrong extremely quickly, his temperament might be a weakness, he might be found out tactically but he's got something we haven't seen leading this club for quite some time and that's a genuine love for the club and heart.

Think he deserves at least the rest of December for me and then go from there.

Unless thing go spectacularly wrong over the next few weeks he must be retained until at least the Cup tie at The Pit.

I am really up for this game now because I know Dunc will have the team up for it.

Besides not being fit enough, I wonder if it's the language barrier as well. Didn't seem to have a clue yesterday where he was supposed to be when he came on. Hopefully, he is taking some intensive English classes as part of his development here.

I don’t think it would natter how good his English was, Joe.....he still wouldn’t be able to understand Dunc.

When he was being interviewed on t’ pitch after the game I had to play it back three or four times to understand everything lol

It's annoying how the narrative is 'poor Moise Kean' being given such a hard time. He's a kid in a new country. It's a joke. He's not a kid, he's almost 20 years old. He's been a professional footballer for more than three years and an international level footballer for more than a year. This is not new to him.

He's been in a new country for over 6 months, if he doesn't know the basics of English (or at the very least some cursory Football instructions) - why not?!. As a professional Footballer, his job is to adapt, to be ready when called upon. He isn't. His job is to be physically fit. He isn't. If he's not quite used to the physical nature of the Premier League yet, that's OK. There are some universal qualities about Footballers that apply whether you're in the Premier League or the Venezuelan third division. These include pressing the opposition, chasing lost causes, keeping the ball, working hard for your team mates - all the things he was sent on to do yesterday. These require nothing other than an eagerness and will to impress - they don't even require a great amount of technical Football ability for the most part.

Finally, he's not been late 'a couple of times'. To be publicly dropped by the club, he would need to have been persistently late. He's been hauled off in other matches where he's started and the team has been better because of it. This isn't the Moise Kean show, we're not a creche and we're not a platform purely for him to develop. English Football and Everton FC won't adapt to Moise Kean, he will need to adapt to us - and quickly.

Good point lol

Is it just me, or is the big man being a bit of a show off in the dugout? Taking off the suit jacket, the wristband, subbing off the “lazy” teenager. Smacks of playing to the gallery to me.

Or is he reacting the same way any of us would had we been managing the club we love? Not sure i would have done anything different to Dunc - apart from maybe the suit jacket cause can't stand the cold!

I agree that if he's shattered or not listening or doesn't get it - it's not good - but unfortunately it's also only the management who can fix it or take responsibility. They have to find that one thing that motivates him, or that one translator or communication style or something that gets him going. We can't give up on him because he has got potential. Silva seemed to be doing the traditional thing of letting him settle down and get used to it, and maybe start using him more at Xmas and new year. Brands did that big gesture to his mum when he came over. Everyone needs TLC and he's only 19 - I hope he's l;ooked after
