I wonder how much of this is being blown outta proportion because it’s Big Dunc and he has this no nonsense hard man reputation. All of a sudden pundits and ex players who couldn’t give a flying F about us or our players feel the need to fight for this young lads career because apparently getting a draw away to an inform United with a team consisting of no almost midfield and missing 150 (that we spent) millions quid worth of players wasn’t as important as Moise Keans feelings.
The big man isn’t a manager - not yet. He may have all the qualifications but actually doing the job is a very different thing. He’s learning as he goes along and he’s an emotional character who he doesn’t suffer fools and if Kean wasn’t following his instructions or was blowing outta his arse then hooking him off for the best of the team was the right thing to do. Could he have handled it better?? Maybe but he’ll learn to play the manager game over time.
This could be the making of Kean and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him start Wednesday. Hopefully he can finally get that goal and this silly drama that’s overshadowing a good result can be put to bed.

Also Dunc put him on so he was owning up to it being a bad sub aswell. The likes of Silva would be in denial and would defend the sub prematch after we buckled.

We know Dunc's character. Can imagine he's the type to expect players to give everything for the shirt, play with emotion as well as your head which is why some players will of taken a liking to the way he does things. He knows the club and the fans inside out and whilst he's extremely inexperienced as a manger he's going to require maximum effort from everyone on the pitch.

If you aren't prepared to give a 100% then expect to get dragged off. For all we know it could all go wrong extremely quickly, his temperament might be a weakness, he might be found out tactically but he's got something we haven't seen leading this club for quite some time and that's a genuine love for the club and heart.

Think he deserves at least the rest of December for me and then go from there.

Yeah, having him in the touchline feels like a random Evertonian managing the team, ofc as an ex-footy player he knows way more than fans but still very passionate and emotional. two-edged sword

He was 100% correct. If Kean has anything about him he'll see it for what it is and make more effort.
Silva didn't fancy him either so he must just be a lazy sod.

Whilst I'm not defending Kean as he did look a little off the pace, I still think that it's a pretty harsh. If he wasn't fit, why play him in the first place? And why not consider the fact he's been left to rot on the bench for weeks. I know Baines looked sharp when he came on, but he's a top pro of many years experience. Kean has only just started his professional career in reality in a completely new country. He already has low confidence so why make it worse. He's only 19 years old.

If he was playing well enough he would have stayed on. Hope he reaches his potential with us but its not exactly started well, lets not gloss over him getting no minutes under Silva either. Ive no issue with what Dunc did tbh. Time for Moise to get on with it and prove himself here, hopefully this will be a motivator for him but could go the other way and he sacks it off. End of the day if its too much for him then see ya later, I hope not though.

Seen again on motd the part where we break with richarlison he gets in the box, holds it up n passes to iwobi for his shot, kean is making the most half arsed run in to the boxI've ever seen in my life, then when waiting for the corner to come in he's bent over breathing through his arse
