It was harsh and sadly will be a make or break moment for the lad - could well destroy his confidence completely.

But given how Dunc clearly loves other young players like DCL, and Kean’s issues with other managers, can only assume this is just the end of a series of warnings about fitness, attitude and effort.

Bingo.

Its a battle of wills.

Yeah the lads 19, hes now got 2 choices, he can sulk, moan and go into his shell.

Or he can pull his tripe out and work for his spot.

It’s not bizarre.

The kid categorically has an attitude problem. Marco didn’t want him in the team. He’s already been dropped and publicly admonished before. Duncan has done this now.

Get him out of the club ASAP. Loan to Lecce in Jan, try to recoup as much of the cash as we can.

What a shame.

Not bizarre? Righto sportster ;)

To be fair when he pushed Kean into the middle, he never w on a header, the ball was coming right back at us all the time. Proved right by getting a deserved point. Hard on Kean, but it will either make him or break him. Our front three who had been on the pitch the whole game, still outrun Kean, that must tell you something.

To be fair though kean and say dcl are completely different types of players. If your wanting someone to come on and just run around you don't bring kean on you bring niasse on

So if that was dunc wanted he made the first sub wrong bringing kean on in the first place

I stand by that he didn't look uninterested at all, he looked absolutely gutted and embrassesed to be taken off, something he wouldn't have looked if he wasn't arsed

It’s not the first time Kean has been hauled if after coming on as a sub this season is it?

EDIT: He was hauled off at half time in another game.

That’s quite telling.

If he’s attitude is so bad why did he bring him on at 1-1 away at Old Trafford... in-experience.

Yes he must be doing something right. He must be fit . If not he should have been dropped from panel until fit. Only answer is he mustn't have been following tactics.
