Dave could you say the same about Mourinho first 6 months with UTD (although just starting now to hit form) , Peps first 6 months with City, Klopps first 6 months with Liverpool, the 3 I have mentioned are all very highly rated managers in the game. They were struggling to make their mark on a club after 6 months with far better quality than we have

Think one of the biggest problems on here mate is it is the same as when Klopp joined the RS. When we lose it's all down to Martinez, how he had taken the club back years, how players had gone backwards etc from some lads, never accepting any criticism of Koeman. We concede a bad goal, it's normally followed up with "Martinez defending there" when we win Martinez (obviously) is never mentioned.

Now I'm not saying the Martinez reign never harmed the club because it did (not as bad as some make out) and Koeman can't be judged fairly yet (but can still rightly be criticised) because he needs at least this window and the summer window to get his players in to fit his style of play, when that happens everything will be on him.

Just think we need to move on from all the Martinez stuff because he's now history.

Just addressing one of your concerns above, football has always been about putting a better 11 on the pitch than your opposition and this goes right down to schoolboy level. Only once you have 2 teams level on ability, desire and fitness does the coach start to have an effect.

Agreed mate. The end of the day RK needs time and his own players to be fairly judged.

Dave i don't think you read my post properly ,i was not quoting everton when i said ability, desire, fitness, just trying to get over that for him to coach he need to be on a level playing field.As of a week ago we were carrying a lot of losers and bottlers and he want's them out ,so do i.
