VAR

Refs and the VAR need to be mic'd up every game. I don't buy the excuse that the players language isn't fit to broadcast. The technology exists to turn the refs mic on or off via the red button. The reason they don't want ref's with microphones is it will be harder to justify bent calls. It's easy after the game to make an excuse, but in the moment, on the spot, it will be harder for them to cheat.
Same thing with police and body cams. If they know that they’re immediately accountable, they’re far less likely to do bent things.

Watch this! Would be a great insight to what it could look like

I’d introduce a law where, like rugby, if they swear at the referee (or in earshot) then the team are penalised. The issue would soon be resolved.

On MOTD they've said the PGMOL have admitted Southampton's penalty v us, Man U's penalty v Villa, and Spurs' ungiven penalty v Bournemouth were all wrong decisions.
A f'up in every game is unacceptable. This is the Premier League for god's sake. Standards must be higher.
Don't need ex-pro's to tell me they got all 3 wrong, anyone who has ever seen a football match could see that.
In fact you could argue the Man United player should be sent off for going over the top of the ball and studs into the shins of the defender!

Happens in rugby and you can buy a "ref link" at the ground and listen in as well as hear it on TV!

As soon as Mark Halsey admitted in his book that pgmol had ordered him to change his match report so they could charge a player twice for the same offence, it was proof the game was bent. Gary Neville was the only one in the media to mention it and tried to bring attention to it. Then his bosses at Sky told him to shut up and he never mentioned it again. The game was City v Arsenal and it was when Adebayor ran the full length of the pitch to wind the Arsenal fans up. Halsey booked him for it, which meant that was the end of it. Or perhaps not, because he changed his report to say he had booked him for time wasting and not winding up the fans. Which then meant the powers that be could then charge him with another offence and ban him. All in his book and never mentioned because it's proof how corrupt the league is.

I don't know. Shearer was convinced it was a penalty despite the replay showing the bloke was falling before contact with Gomes. It's like the penalty that never was against United a couple of seasons back that despite replays showing Martial dived, Neville tried to convince the sky audience it was a penalty. The same pundit even some of our own fans think is great.... None of them are going to question it, they're all eating from the same big pie.
