That's the same biff who claimed a month or 2 ago that Usmanov is not interested in Everton at all according to a "spokesperson" then a few weeks later Usmanov himself said he'd be open to helping Moshiri, which is in effect being involved in Everton. He has no line of communication with Usmanovs spokespersons imo. File under "journo with an agenda".

There’s some naivety in this thread.

This is done and dusted, it’s happening right before our very eyes. He’s clearly funding us now and it’s only a matter of time before he own 50% of Blue Heaven holdings, it’s just a matter if when it suits them best to announce it.

Not sure Moshiri wants Usmanov as a co-owner. This is his project and he may not want to share it or play second fiddle to Alisher. The Mayor's comments that he thought it unlikely the club would take up the financing offer for the stadium makes me think it far more likely that USM Holdings will be the main backers for the stadium, particularly as it is Usmanov's vehicle for investment in iron, steel, media and internet companies... all quite relevant really - and he could still invest in his own football team here or elsewhere.

I don’t think Moshiri’s feelings or thought on the ownership of Everton are really an issue
He got the money to buy his stake off Usmanov
He is Usmanovs accountant
He sits on the boards of Usmanovs companies
He has got the vast majority of his wealth through Usmanov
He works for Usmanov
There has been a plan in place ever since Moshiri sold his Arsenal shares
What that plan is only a select few know , but I know which way I’m joining the dots up
