There can only be 2 reasons behind this move, it is either the net that is closing around russians and their assets or he has failed to find anyone else who will pay that sort of money for his shares and he is not getting any younger, no time like the present to get into us. That is why we had Goodison tarted up and new offices opened in the liver building so he would feel more at home!

Tend to agree with @davek and @thebinmanchronicles much as I would love him to come here, can't help thinking that the closing door that is the London Russian money free for all is something to do with it. Be interesting to see what else he does with his UK assets but we shall see. Next up, he'll be investing in FC Malta.
