Usmanov

Would we be any better off if Usmanov's name was over the door instead of Moshiris?
Surely we are limited by rules governing our expenditure regardless of the personal wealth of our owners?
If Usmanov arrived wouldn't that close certain avenues of potential financial input off to us.? (FF sponsorship for instance).
Having Moshiri own our club is effectively the same as having Usmanov (as the BBCwould no doubt attest), but happily allows us access to financial pathways which would be closed to us.

Not sure but it depends on who is making the decisions? If its Moshiri I think we have a problem as he seems a "lose canon" as Dave once said, finding it hard to trust him, dont get me wrong I dont think he has Mike Ashley type intentions, i just think he is a bit thick on the business side of football

Of course, Usmanov, in an act of revenge, could sell his shares in Arsenal and buy Spurs, whose owner might be willing to sell, if he faces financial difficulties with the stadium. That way Usmanov could keep his base in London.

Joe Lewis puts no money of his own into Spurs.
Spurs will have to self finance the stadium

Yes, that's right. I was implying, only half seriously, Lewis might want to sell if Spurs can't refinance. As far as I know the loans they have are due to be repaid within five years.

Usmanov could buy nearly any Premier League team, perhaps excepting Manchester City.

If he seriously wants out of Arsenal, then there’s only one destination for him, and that’s alongside his mate here.

Our location being 40 mins North in a Leah jet would make no odds to a Billionaire mate.

I think at this stage of his life the profit motive is secondary to Usmanov
He has more than enough money
As someone else posted now he wants the ego trip , the power , the kudos and acknowledgement that he owns and controls a top PL side
He wants his legacy to be seen by all not just a name on Forbes rich list.
If someone says Jack Walker to you do think steel tycoon or do you say that’s the chap that made Blackburn rovers league champions
That what Usmanov wants
Thats why he will come to us soon.

Both he and Moshiri are massive football fans and they want to have a successful team of thier own!!

It will happen.

I can't help think it's a case of when, not if. I think the first thing for any of this to move forward will be the finance for the new ground being agreed with LCC. I can't see him having any issues selling his shares in Arsenal.

Alisha. Alish. Ali. Al. Mate....

Just realise Kroenke is lifting your leg. Sell your shares & kick off the Blue revolution.

If those sheiks can do what they’ve done with a no-mark club like man city, imagine what you could do with Everton.

most of our fans still don't seem to realise that it doesn't matter how rich our owner is, FFP has stopped any teams doing a Chelski or City and buying success. we missed that boat, the rules have changed.

There’s ways and means bud.

Don’t Man City’s owners ‘sponsor’ their own stadium?

Yes and no. FFP stopped teams for obviously just overspending for players. But as anyone with a lot of money and power knows, regulations always have a lot of holes in them. There are a lot of ways to comply with FFP and still spend massively above what we currently are. The biggest one is that we can spend as much as we want, as long as our revenue also increases. There are many ways you can use the owners funds and power to in the long run drive up merchandise sales, naming rights. For example, theres nothing that keeps the owner from paying cash for a new stadium, which then means the club has no payments on a stadium that now produces a lot of extra matchday income. There are big holes in FFP, its not as easy as it once was, but then again billionaires hire people who specialize in things that arent easy.

Hardly the People’s Club now we are owned by a dodgy Russian oligarch and his Iranian puppet!

“He was arrested and convicted on charges of fraud and 'theft of socialist property' in Uzbek SSR in August 1980 and imprisoned for six years of an eight-year sentence.“

Not to mention his connections to Putin, etc

Not arsed as long as we win stuff.

City and PSG are owned by human rights abusers and Chelsea a Russian gangster.
