Usmanov

I think it’s a no brainier.

Stay at Arsenal and do what?
Come to Everton and have the stadium, and the docks to play with, I think it’s been the plan from day one and the Mosh has arrived first to start the ball rolling.
It makes sense to us but maybe Usmanov has other ideas
I can’t see Usmanov buying Moshiris stake in Arsenal knowing he was going to buy Everton if he hadn’t of thought it through
What if things had worked out differently for us and we kept Stones Rom and to a lesser extent Barkley
4/5 decent signings that worked out and we would have been challenging Arsenal for a top 4 spot and damaging Usmanovs shareholding value.
Usmanov would have-seen this possibility but still let Moshiri invest in Everton
Why let your holding company sponsor one of your possible rivals for a top 4 spot
Why let angry birds who you have an influence over become sleeve sponsor of a rival.
A lot doesn’t add up in one way , but makes sense if you’re paving the way.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t necessarily disagree with him about Usmanov coming, I just don’t see how he can continue the line that Usmanov won’t be able to sell his shares when we know that Kronke has recently made him a good offer for them.
He doesn't really know and nor do we, either way. He is just summising whilst others on this thread seem certain it's simply a matter of time 'til the big Uzbeki arrives. If he does it will define our future. If he doesn't, I still feel we are in better shape than we have been since John Moores was at the helm. Moshiri has made some big mistakes but I think he will get it right in the end.

If Usmanov/another mega rich buyer hasnt come on board within the next 2-3 years do you feel like you'll lost interest in the game/club?

I'll always love the club but the sad reality is football is a sport and whats the point if you will never win a trophy/challenge for 1st? Sounds a bit entitled but even when we were skint you felt like under Moyes we were only a takeover/top quality striker away from pushing into the top 4 as it was.

Since then we've had money, players like Lukaku yet the now top 6 have a monopoly and we seem stuck in a cycle of disinterested players and bad management decisions.

At this moment in time I feel only a game changing takeover/investment along with the new ground will keep me interested - I'll still look out for our results but I wont be going home and away anymore. The whole Sky obsession with "Dortmund has nowhere for Aubayamang to go shopping or buy fast cars" and the Giroud and his wife saga sums modern day football up.

^^^ it is what it is. I completly agree, but what can you do, you know, like Everton is a PL club, and need to follow the trend.

I think Everton is the most historical and charming club, in the world. There is always the nostalgia, you can warm to.

However, you could find a small club to follow, aswell. In one of the lower leagues. Besides Everton. Think most people have a second club. It's a free world

Obviously we all hope that Usmanov will take us over, and the worse we get, the more fervent is that hope.

I have an open mind but there is something that Moshiri said a while back which keeps eating away at me: when asked about Usmanov, Moshiri said "We do everything together..."

Oh he does.

But he's spent the last 5 years at Arsenal opposing everything Kroenke has done and basically said he was running the club into the ground. If he then decided to sell to him, it would be hugely hypocritical and Arsenal fans would go mental.

The fact Kroenke has made an offer I found interesting. It's almost like Stan knows that he could be open to disposing of his interest...

Agree with all that.

But why in the last agm, he voted in favour or stan or stan’s son retaining his seat on the board? Surley if he proper hated him he’d vite against it just out of spite.. (his bite would have made zero difference to the result)

Because if you want to look itk on something like this it's easy, just continue refuting the idea he's coming, and every day he doesn't people will assume you know stuff, then when he comes, you do the line of something changed behind the scenes, so you where right with what you said all along until the landscape changed.

Seem that the brexit, has decresed realestate investment in the GB. Many of wich in the greater cities, are being made by foreign investors, like chinese, arabs, russians and soo on.

Im not sure it would be a good time for Usmanov, to invest in property.

is the newly stadium statement, mearly a way of distracting fans, from the facts of the state the club is in.

Would that not be a good timing, here in the end of the transfer, where no left-back, center mid has been gotten. And a manager who can not play "pass" ball. Like Koeman

What a coincidence

I live in a remote village mate I don't see my real estate stock diminishing due to brexit. In fact the market has held firm so therefore investment is safe if anything it could be time to buy.

Anyway back on track... I think if any indication of him coming here would be to see what happens when the mid term results get published and you get to track the shares the investment firm knows best they always do and before anyone else ;)

Yes, well it would be a good time to invest, for British citizents, since the marked seem to stabilize. However it is mostly in London and Birmingham the foregin investers has invested.

In a Remote village i would expect little impact, although that would be my own prefrence, if i was to live some-where.
I love the English country side.

Yes, the mid term results. Let's wait for them. We shall see.

Any news on when we might expect, the mid term results?
