I've never got it me tbh.
Bill got pellters but we all knew he was way out of his depth money wise.
But he played a blinder getting these guy's on board , they are the very best at making money , so in turn that only bodes well for the club.
Only fools question how they go about their business .
Personnally i think as Goat said earlier, apart from maybe City & Chelsea I wouldnt swap our owners for anyone.
Money really is for the Money men.

He did play a blinder, and I'm glad he didn't hang on for longer. In his business he has to be really good at raising money and selling ideas, I'm guessing, and so he has always done a good job selling Everton to people.

Usmanov isn't sponsoring anything, though USM is. A holding company whose chairman is Moshiri.

If Usmanov is bankrolling us then why have we had to take out two high interest loans with RMFL.

"His old partner Moshiri owns a majority of Everton FC. Would Usmanov like to join him there? “Yes. With great pleasure, if he asks,” he says. “I am thinking about my investment in this club . . . I cannot reject Arsenal. I will not leave them as a fan. But if I join Everton, then I will wear an Everton shirt, because I am a professional.

“They are going to build a new stadium. Why not the USM Arena? It is not obligatory for me to participate myself. I could just sponsor them.” A week after our meeting, Usmanov brokers a deal to bring Carlo Ancelotti, the former Real Madrid manager, to Everton.

“What is the remedy for love? New love,” he laughs. “If you think like a Muslim, who can have four wives, or a harem? . . . I love Arsenal, but I failed. What can I do? But I also believe Arsenal lost something without Usmanov.”

I think you'll find he very much does put money into us.

As a result of the recent ESL fiasco we have seen suggested valuations of both Arsenal Liverpool as being somewhere about 3bn each.

The capital gain the current owners would make would be phenomenal. However we also see that while making a capital gain some owners are at the same time draining money from their clubs without apparently affecting the clubs valuation in a negative way.

If Moshiri does make Everton Into a successful winning club then the gains for him could be huge.....certainly it would dwarf any investment he has made so far.

Moshiri could throw in another £500mil on players u23 and build a super squad full of assets....get the stadium built....

...make £1bil on a sale.

Such a blunt way of looking at it.
- But not totally without foundation.
No he has made soft loans to the Club and the equity he has injected has increased the percentage of the Club he owns.

For instance, he has agreed to underwrite a share issue of £250m. However, of that £250m only £50m will go to the Club with the other £200m going to repay debt owed to Moshiri.

Whilst that may seem benevolent, the share issue will see his share of the club grow from 77.2% to 93%.
35,000 shares will become 70,000 or 100,000 and the price will be whatever Moshiri needs to cover his out goings, plus, no doubt, a decent profit as well.

Can someone tell me who is chatting brown and who isn't here?

Personally find it hard to take anything @gwladysnight says seriously after he spent the best part of a week comparing people laughing at kopites in the witch hunt thread to what the Nazis did during the Holocaust before his last ban.
Really? Wow. Although reading someones implosion is far more entertaining than reading Catchers sanctimonious wham constantly. His posts are far better when short and sweet.

Exactly, even billionaires have cash flow problems due to historically low interest rates. Usmanov's reported wealth puts him 6th richest in the uk. Reported uk wealth. The key to everything is Carlo. He knows who's in charge. He knows how much we have. In his last few conferences he is attacking ffp, the big six, and his own current players. What does that add up to?
Poor old @gwladysnight will have a right wobble when Moshiri bankrolls a net spend of over 100m this summer

Is this true? So we could be skint this summer?
