I think he would crawl over broken glass to get the job. The reality is however that if he was that good he would have been a success at least one of the clubs he has managed since. These days he just looks like a championship manager. Remember 2003 season. Who now would keep him following a season like that.

Over the past 5 years he has proved he isn't good enough for a top club so why would he be good enough for us now? Simply stating facts about why he is a average manager and not good enough for Everton isn't 'bashing' him.

I actually think he is unlucky with West Ham. It remains to be seen whether Pelligrini will do any better, especially given he was struggling in China. His time at Man City was not particularly impressive given their resources either.

Will a 64-year-old have the necessary energy and motivation to fight the Dildos and rebuild that side? I am far from convinced
